To ASI Supporters:

The X-rated hearing was a disgrace. It should never have been held. Judge Kavanaugh looked almost hysterical. By contrast, accuser Dr. Ford looked calm. What is clear is that Kavanaugh came out of a beer-drinking culture and still imbibes. Asked by Senator Klobuchar if he had drunk so much alcohol that he had blacked out, he said, “You're asking about a blackout — I don't know, have you?" Here’s the exchange:

Sen. Klobuchar: “There’s never been a case where you drank so much that you didn’t remember what happened the night before?”

Judge Kavanaugh: “I don't know. Have you?”

Klobuchar: “I have no drinking problem, Judge.”

"I drank beer with my friends. Almost everyone did. Sometimes I had too many beers. Sometimes, others did," Kavanaugh said. "I liked beer. I still like beer. But I did not drink beer to the point of blacking out, and I never sexually assaulted anyone." He added, “There is a bright line between drinking beer, which I gladly do, and which I fully embrace, and sexually assaulting someone, which is a violent crime…But in any event, we drank beer, and — and still do,” Kavanaugh said.

I can’t understand why he went through this detailed description of his beer-drinking escapades. He is not a good role model for our young people.

With these statements, it is clear to me that Kavanaugh may not remember what happened. On the other hand, Ford’s memory may be a false memory.

The Republicans were outmaneuvered and made several bone-headed decisions, such as using the sex crimes prosecutor to ask questions of Dr. Ford. It is also clear that whether Kavanaugh assaulted Ford or not, he is a flawed candidate who should not have been nominated. He got this far because he is a Washington insider and member of the elite.

I think demands for an FBI investigation are misguided. The FBI has its own agenda. It collects personal information on people that can be used for and against them. And the FBI was used in the Vincent Foster murder cover-up. Nevertheless, the American Bar Association has called for a delay in the vote and another FBI investigation of Kavanaugh, saying, “…the Senate should recognize that a thorough FBI investigation will demonstrate its commitment to a Supreme Court that is above reproach.”

Mark Judge, Kavanaugh’s friend and alcoholic, is the key to getting at the ultimate truth.  He has hired a lawyer and has issued a denial. But he may not remember, either.

The effect of the hearing yesterday has been to rally many conservatives around Kavanaugh.  But he looks like a clone of his mentor, Anthony Kennedy. I recommend the Calvin Freiburger article at Life Site News about how “it’s easy to forget that Kavanaugh was supposed to be one of the easier judges to confirm on Donald Trump’s short list.” He adds:

As a Federalist Society-approved blank slate on those icky social issues, Kavanaugh was supposed to sidestep such unpleasantness. Gee, how did that work out?

I have tried my best to get out the truth about this nominee.

Regardless of the vote today, the liberals will continue portraying the Republicans as enablers of sexual abuse. This is the issue they hope to use to take the Senate on November 6.

There were better Supreme court candidates available. Remember that. All of this could have been avoided.
