Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

Yours truly has surfaced once again on CAIR’s list of “Islamophobic individuals.” This is a smear designed to somehow taint the research we have done on the Islamic threat.

We remain the only group that did a conference on “Lenin and Sharia,” documenting how the Russians back the Islamists. In Syria, Russia and Iran are backing a variation of Shia Islam, the Assad dictatorship.

I still think his strike on the Syrian base should have been approved by Congress. An independent investigation should have been conducted into the gas attack. But I don’t fault President Trump for acting when his advisers came to him with evidence of the Syrian government’s chemical weapons attack April 4 in Khan Sheikhoun, which killed or injured hundreds of innocent Syrian people, including women and children.

Think about it from Trump’s perspective: Obama had told him that an agreement with Russia had taken those weapons out of Syria. Trump sees pictures of suffering people and is told by military advisers that sarin gas dropped from a Syria plane was responsible. I don’t think Trump had the luxury under these special circumstances of disputing what military officials told him. Another factor on his mind was undoubtedly the idea that if he balked at retaliating, the North Korean Communists would see that as a sign of weakness.

At this point, I think we need to support Trump and his advisers, such as Sebastian Gorka, who have labeled the enemy as radical Islamic terrorism (backed by Russia). Gorka is under a vicious assault by liberal media working with Jihadist and Muslim Brotherhood groups.

We should NOT get involved deeper in a Sunni/Shia civil war.  In this case, however, I understand why President Trump acted. He was left in an untenable situation by his predecessor, Obama, who lied and claimed that all of the chemical weapons had been removed. Our new column explores his lies. Again, under these special circumstances, Trump must have felt that he had to act, not only to counter the Syrian attack, but to send a message to China-backed Communist North Korea.

These are dangerous times and I can’t second-guess the president. It’s better to act than to do nothing.

Now he should go to Congress with a strategy of what to do.

Here at home, we need to support those, like Gorka, who stand up to the Muslim Brotherhood.

I could use your support as well. We have a PayPal account on our website www.usasurvival.org to accept your generous donations. Scroll down on the right side of our home page, where you can find the “How You Can Help” banner. The PayPal device is located there.
