Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

Fox News is unwatchable.

Laura Ingraham reminds me of the slogan when I co-hosted CNN’s “Crossfire” – “Don’t talk while I’m interrupting.” She is in trouble, having mocked one of the anti-gun protest leaders for failing to get into an elite college. He did not “whine” about it. He only discussed his college rejections.

Here’s what TMZ reported: “Truth be told ... TMZ contacted Hogg and asked if he was disappointed about not getting into 4 UC schools despite a 4.2 GPA and spearheading the nationwide March For Our Lives rally. He actually did the OPPOSITE of whining.”

Ingraham has revealed herself to be one of the elites. Now she’s facing a left-wing boycott of her advertisers. Too bad. She talks too much, and frequently talks over and interrupts her guests.

It’s fine to take on the gun control advocates. But don’t attack them for going to certain colleges, or not getting into elite schools. Ingraham graduated from Dartmouth, an Ivy League School.

Ingraham should apologize to Hogg and stick to the issues. Bring him on the air and debate him fairly.

Ingraham has become a nasty woman. As a result, she’s losing advertisers.

Meanwhile, Shepard Smith, the chief news anchor and managing editor of Fox News Channel's Breaking News Division, has been given a fat new contract. He mocks Christians for their opposition to his gay lifestyle.

“Shepard Smith is an exemplary journalist whose skill in anchoring breaking news is unrivaled. His powerful storytelling on both television and digital platforms has elevated our entire news gathering process,” Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch said in a news release announcing the new contract.

Fox News is pushing the Trump administration's first openly gay ambassadorial nominee – Richard Grenell, who was a Fox News commentator. Fox News reports:

Richard Grenell, a conservative and experienced foreign policy expert who is openly gay, was nominated by Trump to be ambassador to Germany last year, but remains among those held up in the [Senate confirmation] process.

Grenell cannot be both conservative and gay. What’s more, he’s not qualified to be an ambassador.

The White House has issued a new policy banning most transgenders from serving in the U.S. military. There’s no reason to push a gay nominee as Ambassador to Germany at the same time.

On these matters, the Trump Administration seems to have a case of gender confusion.

On the other hand, Fox News did run a great piece on how our tax dollars are going to gay and transgender groups: NEA gives thousands in federal grants to transgender plays, Rosie O'Donnell's theater group:

The National Endowment for the Arts [NEA] is pouring tens of thousands of dollars into left-wing art projects including plays about transgenderism and even one award to Rosie O’Donnell’s theater group -- after the celebrity repeatedly slammed the president… Feminist Press in New York got a $30,000 grant to support the publication and promotion of fiction books. Feminist Press recently published and promoted a volume on “Radical Reproductive Justice” as well as “Johnny Would You Love Me if My D--k Were Bigger.”

Here’s the description of the “Radical Reproductive Justice” book:

The newly released anthology, Radical Reproductive Justice, illustrates the ways in which the battle for reproductive rights is fundamentally linked to combating systemic oppression rooted in sexism and white supremacy

Elizabeth Harrington of the Washington Free Beacon first reported on these grants. Here is the complete list. Harrington noted:

The NEA funded numerous gender bending projects in the latest round, including $15,000 to Monica Bill Barnes & Company, whose most recent show is Happy Hour, a dance piece starring two women playing business men in drag…. A $10,000 grant went to the play Boy, which follows a botched circumcision that leads to a male infant being raised as a girl.

Don’t expect Shep Smith to report on any of this, or to ask why President Trump and the Republicans haven’t defunded the NEA.
