To ASI Supporters:

I don’t know who President Trump will nominate on Monday. But I am impressed by one possible Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, and her personal story. This is the nominee with “controversial” views based on “dogma” and involvement in a Catholic Christian group.

My wife and I have three children and we know that is a major responsibility. Barrett, 46, and her husband, have seven children, including two Haitian children who were adopted. One of their children has special needs. Her husband is a prosecutor.

Adoption gives children the chance to live and thrive. My wife drew my attention to the case of a 10-year-old boy in foster care in Oklahoma whose hope is for a loving family to take care of him. Watch the video about his case here. He wants a Mom and Dad. I pray he can find a loving home. Thanks to TV station KFOR for this touching story.

“There would be a nice woman,” he says of his future family. “There would be a nice husband. There would be nice kids. There would be pets. I’ll do anything for them.”

Amy Barrett lives her pro-family views. She was nominated by Trump for U.S. Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit and was confirmed by a vote of 55 to 43, with 2 not voting. You can watch her confirmation hearing here.  She introduces members of her family at 25:30.

If she is nominated, the left will try to destroy her. They demand absolute loyalty to the pro-abortion and LGBTQIA agendas. They will smear her as a religious zealot.

The Soros-funded Alliance for Justice (AFJ) had attacked Barrett when she was previously nominated.

I don’t need to tell you that billionaire hedge fund operator George Soros is one of the most dangerous people on the planet. He has inflicted much suffering on the world. He has ruined many lives. He exploits economic problems to make money. The Open Society Foundations are the Soros vehicle that underwrites the Alliance for Justice (AFJ). The AFJ includes such groups as:

  • Earth Justice
  • AARP
  • Center for Inquiry
  • Center for Reproductive Rights
  • Drug Policy Alliance
  • Human Rights Campaign
  • Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and
  • Muslim Advocates
  • National Education Association
  • National Lawyers Guild
  • National LGBTQ Task Force
  • Planned Parenthood
  • Secular Coalition of America
  • Southern Poverty Law Center
  • Tides
  • Transgender Law Center

If Barrett is nominated, it will be the battle of a lifetime. Under Orders from Soros, they will use an unconstitutional religious test on her.

One of the most interesting AFJ members, the National Lawyers Guild, is a communist front. What you also find on that list of AFJ members, in addition to the far-left, is a generous sprinkling of New Age or anti-Christian organizations.

For example, the Center for Inquiry says it “strives to foster a secular society based on reason, science, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values.” Humanism is rejection of God.  The Secular Coalition for America says its purpose “is to increase the visibility of and respect for nontheistic viewpoints in the United States, and to protect and strengthen the secular character of our government as the best guarantee of freedom for all.”
I don’t need to remind you that America was founded on religious freedom and belief in God. It’s also not a secret: there is a no religious test clause of the Constitution. It is a clause within Article VI, Clause 3:

…no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Here’s the context:

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Now tell me: where is there a right to abortion or a right to gay marriage in the Constitution? Why are the forces backed by George Soros so determined to destroy traditional values?
