MELISSA BENEDEK

Melissa Benedek is an abstract artist and designer who grew up in New York City around the arts. Her father owned an art gallery in Soho and her mother, also involved in the art world, showcased artists and orchestrating shows. Melissa studied art at The Arts Student’s League and Parson’s School of Design in New York. Her love for color and design led her to become an artist and jewelry designer. Her passion for color play came through in the stones she would choose for her jewelry designs. Alongside jewelry design, she continued to paint and build her art portfolio, which today demonstrates her vision and passion for colors and textures. Her art features fluid brushstrokes that intersect, overlap, and interact with one another. Melissa recently moved to Connecticut and is an artist at RPAC Gallery and a member of the Ridgefield Guild of Artists. See her jewelry design website and Instagram page.
