We all know those realistic life-sized characters of Seward Johnson. Now Stamford Downtown brings 36 of his sculptures to Stamford, courtesy of The Sculpture Foundation. Stamford is the fifth city in the world to host the iconic, monumental, 26-foot-tall Forever Marilyn. A $50 opening cocktail celebration is being held on Wed. More... Then on Thursday there is a shorter ceremony at the foot of Forever Marilyn, followed by a screening of Billy Wilder's The Seven Year Itch, starring Marilyn and including the scene on which Johnson's sculpture is based.
