Hi Friend,

I’ve just started working on the song from County Tyrone — and this one feels a little different.

As I spent time in the Psalms connected to this county, a theme began to emerge that I wasn’t expecting.

There’s this call for all of creation to sing…

But right alongside it are these very grounded lines:

Father to the fatherless.
Defender of widows.
Setting the lonely in families.

It feels like those things are connected - like worship and justice are part of the same song.

I’m still figuring out what that looks like.

But here’s the very first glimpse of where it’s starting from:

This is very much the “in-progress” stage — a melody, a few lines, and a direction.
