Dear Blessed Soul,
In 1958, glowing with divine light, our beloved Divine Mother, Amma Sri
Karunamayi descended to this Earth from Her heavenly abode on Vijayadashami Day born to Smt.
Annapurnamma and her husband Sri Subaramanna.
Amma’s birth was the
fulfillment of a prophesy made by the famous sage Bhagawan Ramana
Maharishi and Smt. Annapurnaamma’s vision of the Divine Mother which she
had seen at the famous Chamundeshwari temple at Mysore exactly one year
earlier. Amma was named Vijayeshwari Devi as She was born on auspicious
Vijayadashami which is the culmination of the Navaratri celebrations.
We are indebted to our beloved Amma for Her divine grace in granting
this enviable opportunity to perceive her divine form in this world, in
our mortal presence as she casts her merciful, loving and reassuring
glances into every moment of our lives.
