“We thought we had a great Barbera chosen from
a small vinery in Piedmont (and indeed it was).. We knew price could not be as
low as industrial wines.
But the Rubinum Barbera DOC of Vigna Italiana
is equally great (if not even better, our Customers say) and much more
affordable for us due to the agreement of Vigna Italiana with their producers.
Results: we sell the same quantity of Barbera bottles
(2000 bottles for now) but our unit margin went up 45% due to decreasing of our
product cost!
