I know, 2017 has been a complicated year for the production of certain delicacies (truffle, olive oil, etc), but on the commercial side this ending year has brought us great satisfaction.
In a relatively shaky economy, there are always some traced paths which give us security and make us hope for a real recovery in every field.
AmarFood group and its related brands (Saporalia, AmarFood and Mervilia) has grown up well during 2017 in terms of volumes and new Markets entries; the number of customers has increased and the capabilities and skills of our human resources (the people) has evolved very well. This will give us a strong motivation to start the 2018 in the best way.
I wrote the word “people” on purpose. In this current times, where new economy giants like Amazon, Ali Baba, Bitcoin and other new technologies are taking the scene, I think there is only one certainty: to remain Big between giants, the people and the team are the only things that will make the difference.
When you such different sizes and you compete with so different scales, you have to rely on people skills and the peculiarity of your Products, in order to be able to elevate your quality, professionalism and service level.
Our strength sits with the people who are in force in our Staff and all the people who works in the Territories where we operate, who I thank so much for this 2017.
Our strength is in the excellence of our Customers, to whom I wish a great 2017 closure and an even better start for 2018.
Our quality is made by or producers and partners, to whom i wish a very Good Year for the coming 2018; they are the ones who give us the chance to bring their excellences to the Markets that we serve.
So, please raise your glasses, we toast to this coming 2018, celebrating the best and looking back for a moment to see what we’ve built in this year.
