Subject: This Story May Save Your Life (Or Someone You Love).

She had a stroke while cooking—and still finished making dinner.

Can you recognize a stroke while it’s happening?
At the time, Hyvelle Furguson-Davis couldn’t.

In fact, she was having a stroke while cooking dinner—and still refused to go to the hospital.

That terrifying moment kicked off a journey that led to a heart attack, quadruple bypass surgery, and ultimately, a powerful mission to advocate for women’s health—especially in communities of color.

I’m launching a brand new series called Love My Body, Love Myself, as a part of the Unleash Your Audacious Confidence Podcast. In honor of Stroke Awareness Month, our premiere episode features Hyvelle’s raw, emotional, and life-changing story.

👉 Watch the episode this Monday, May 19th on YouTube

In this episode, Hyvelle and I dive into:

  • The stroke symptoms most women ignore

  • The dangerous mindset of “I don’t have time to be sick”

  • How to advocate for yourself when the system tries to dismiss you

  • The emotional healing it takes to love your body again—scars and all

If you’ve ever put yourself last or pushed through the pain “for the family,” this is the conversation you didn’t know you needed.

💥 You deserve to listen. You deserve to live.

🎥 Set a reminder now and join us Monday, May 19th, for the premiere of Love My Body, Love Myself.
