Just wanted to let those ALERT guys whose last known address was in the Pennsylvania, Ohio or West Virginia area that we are holding another Conquer Series Retreat the weekend of March 5-7 in Waynesburg, PA - about an hour south of Pittsburgh. We have three slots open for anyone that might be interested. It begins Friday night about 7 PM and concludes late Sunday morning.
I'd urge any of you guys to seriously consider coming to this if you're either struggling with addictive sexual behavior, occasional dabbling in pornography or just wanted to get your hands on some excellent material to help a family member or brother in the Lord.
Please consider the following if you're out there thinking "I just slip once in a while. I don't have a real problem..."
- Do you slip - just once in a while - shoplifting or is it better known as stealing?
- Do you slip - just once in a while - physically beating your children or is the real issue child abuse?
- If you occasionally sold products that were fake - would that be just "slipping up once in a while" or would it be a problem with fraud?
Continuing to "slip up" with pornography viewing may not make you a full-fledged addict, but doesn't it indicate an ongoing issue that you'd like to experience complete freedom in?
I'm not aiming to throw a guilt trip on anyone but I am encouraging each of you that are indeed tied to this stuff in one form or fashion to join us and work together with other men in coming to freedom.
