View this email online if it doesn't display correctly
The Shruti Box is an Indian Drone instrument that provides a steady tone for a myriad of uses including sound healing, meditation, and chanting. The single box is a full chromatic scale is available in concert pitch 440hz or Healing Pitch 432hz.

Each Shruti box comes with a black carrying case as seen in the photo gallery.

What’s the difference between the sizes? In short, the larger the instrument, the more dynamic range you get. What is dynamic range? It is the ability to play louder and softer. The large shruti box can play a soft drone with less effort than the medium box and the medium box can play a soft drone with less effort than the small box. The small box is lighter in weight, the medium is slightly heavier and the large shruti box is the heaviest.

All instruments in stock are tuned to 440hz. Shruti Boxes in 432hz are available on backorder only.

In this video, Didge Project's Jerry Walsh demonstrates the three styles of throat singing and how to do them with a shruti box (Indian drone instrument). The three styles of throat singing are Kargyraa, Khoomei, and Sygyt.

By singing with a shruti box, the voice can open up and explore the range of sounds within throat singing.

Didge Project is a blog, youtube channel, series of courses and events, instrument store and a collective of musicians who want to help you use music as a tool for uplifting yourself and others around you.

On our site you will find tips and tutorials to help you become a better musician, didgeridoo lessons, instrument features and reviews, and reports on the latest scientific research and spiritual discoveries merging through the medium of sound.

When we began in 2008 our main focus was on teaching how to play the didgeridoo, a wind instrument originating in aboriginal Australia and also said to be present in ancient Mayan times. After working with countless people it became apparent that most musicians play multiple instruments and that we have the community resources to help all musicians get better results. While we still provide didgeridoo lessons, classes and programs, our focus is to provide tutorials for music and instruments from all around the world.
