“The Flute of the Ancestors gives you strength to elevate yourself. It is not simply a flute; it is a staff of power." - Tito La Rosa

Now available in D, F and A

This bamboo overtone flute from the Andes is easy to play, sounds amazing, and hits a range of harmonics. Its characteristic is to produce harmonics over a fundamental sound. Over this fundamental sound it creates harmonics upward, but it always returns to the mother sound [the tonic] which is found in the middle, below and also above.

An amazingly versatile instrument, the tuneable 18″ Middle-Eastern/Shamanic Frame Drum can be played in a variety of ways. Using the beater, this drum functions as a shamanic drum. Using the tipper, it can be played in the traditional celtic fashion. Using the finger tips, the drum can be utilized as a middle-eastern frame drum.

From the RAV Vast makers: 'The sound of the Humayun RAV Vast has a sweet and exotic taste like fruit sherbet that you drink in the late warm evening somewhere in the Middle-East. This scale refers to the music tradition of Azerbaijan mughams and has a high-pitched sonorous voice. After the long and accurate review of many mugam modes, we picked up Humayun to create another RAV steel tongue drum scale.'

DidgeProject.com
Didge Project is a blog, youtube channel, series of courses and events, instrument store and a collective of musicians who want to help you use music as a tool for uplifting yourself and others around you.

On our site you will find tips and tutorials to help you become a better musician, didgeridoo lessons, instrument features and reviews, and reports on the latest scientific research and spiritual discoveries merging through the medium of sound.

When we began in 2008 our main focus was on teaching how to play the didgeridoo, a wind instrument originating in aboriginal Australia and also said to be present in ancient Mayan times. After working with countless people it became apparent that most musicians play multiple instruments and that we have the community resources to help all musicians get better results. While we still provide didgeridoo lessons, classes and programs, our focus is to provide tutorials for music and instruments from all around the world.
