Subject: Friend, here is your Aha! Moment Monday ⭐

We’ve all experienced devastation in our lives.

Everyone reacts differently to it.

Some people confirm the expectancy of difficult times with expressions like, “I knew this was going to happen!”, or “If it wasn’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all!”

Other people immediately try to balance out the bad by looking for the good in the situation.

Some go into denial and others wallow in the challenge.

Some take personal ownership or responsibility and others deflect it to a higher power.

Fall of 2016, I watched online as Hurricane Nicole pounded Bermuda.  At the time the eye of the storm passed over, winds of over 110 mph were measured at the airport. Trees were uprooted, roofs were blown off houses and, in the thick of it, 90% of the Island was without power. The videos of palm trees blowing sideways and waves grounding boats from the water were heart-wrenching.

Only minutes after the storm passed, people were sopping up water under the windowsills, picking up branches in their gardens, and crews of workers were busily clearing and repairing the roads and restoring electricity.

Did they not just realize what they went through??

Aha! ~ Every experience is neither good nor bad, it just is.

The Law of Relativity states that it’s not until you compare one situation to another that it has a label.

Bermudians didn’t label the storm as good or bad, they simply accepted it and got to work.

Part two of the Law of Relativity suggests that experiences are tests for the purpose of strengthening the light within each of these lessons.  The challenge?  To remain connected to your heart when solving the problem.

Nicole exerted her greatest force and Bermudians hunkered down in anticipation. Then when the worst was over, with their “can-do” attitude and sheer love for their Island, they brought themselves back to Normalville.

Labeling a situation can alter your feeling about the situation and probably your response.

Skip the label and follow the light.

We’ll be sharing some great stories about how disempowering labeling can be!  Join us here Aha! Moment Trailblazers | Facebook NOON Eastern, tomorrow, June 21st to get a refreshed perspective on retiring old paradigms.

Succeed Deliberately!
