Subject: Friend, here is your Aha! Moment Monday ⭐

Are you up at the crack of dawn or are you someone who hits the “snooze” button a few times before making a move?

In a recent interview, I was asked, “What motivates you?”  I will share that it’s not the fact that the sun is up at 5:00 a.m.  (I’m addicted to sunshine and truly love the months when it hangs around until 9:30 p.m.)

What motivates YOU to get cracking?  Did you know that all intentions and actions stem from either love or fear?  When you drill down to the real reasons you have that spring in your step or are dragging yourself forward, it is that you’re either moving towards something pleasurable or away from something painful (the latter typically being a greater motivator).

The reality is that nothing rests – everything is always in motion and either growing or disintegrating – so we are in action even by being inactive.  Those with the proverbial “Do Not Disturb” sticker on their forehead will be forced to change regardless of their plea for the status quo.

If “change” isn’t a four-letter word, is it possible to get comfortable being uncomfortable?

Aha! ~ “Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.” ― Lucius Annaeus Seneca

It’s the times when you are way outside your element that you begin to experience who you really are.

When what motivates you is anticipating where life will take you today, you recognize that all experiences, all encounters, and all occurrences are meaningful elements of your growth on purpose.  Acceptance of them all – regardless of how you label them at the time – becomes your most empowering attribute.

“Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” ― Helen Keller, The Open Door

All beautiful flowers grow in dirt.

What de-motivates you?  Let’s start there tomorrow – Tuesday May 10th – in Aha! Trailblazer Facebook group. What a conversation this will be!!
