Subject: Hi Friend, here is your Aha! Moment Monday

Reading time: 85 seconds

I recently read that in Ancient China, people hired doctors to keep them healthy.  If they got sick, they fired their doctors.

Ancient Chinese medicine is based on the premise that people fall ill when two opposing forces – yin and yang – are out of balance.  Doctors used herbal remedies and acupuncture to channel or re-channel these two energies so that in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle – which apparently included lots of soup – “balance” could be maintained.

Do we dare do a little audit to see where we are at today in comparison?  Just for fun … on a scale of one to 10, one being that you totally disagree and 10 being 100% on point, what is your score on these organically healthy principals?

  • The food I eat is freshly grown and immediately consumed.

  • I am skilled in knowing which herbs provide which medicinal properties and consume them to my benefit.

  • I walk barefoot on the earth every day.

  • I am doing work that challenges me, fulfills me and gives me great joy.

  • Regular physical exercise for me includes taking care of my property and being in nature.

  • I enjoy a close and loving relationship with my family and community.

  • I am free from microwaves or electromagnetics that can cause harm to my personal energy field.

  • When I feel a little off, I consult my naturopath, acupuncturist, chiropractor or my intuition first.

  • I steer clear of toxins that may negatively affect my body, my mind or my environment.

  • I invest in studies of the bodymind to fully understand my self-healing capabilities.

Aha! ~ “Our bodies are apt to be our autobiographies.”  ~ Frank Gillette Burgess

A few things have changed in the last 3000 years, Ancient China to now.  Life is far more complicated and proactive self-care – including the knowledge of how – has fallen on the priority scale.  So, let’s simply allow this audit to be a tool for awareness: that with each element of “growth” or “evolution” or “advancement”, we also bring harm to ourselves.  We live fuller when our bodies and our minds are in a state of vibrational harmony but achieving harmony has never been more challenging.

By your willingness to do the audit and emotionally feel yourself being energized by the earth’s core by walking barefoot, eating succulent, fresh food and living in love, you are positively shifting your energy.

“The moment you change your perception is the moment you rewrite the chemistry of your body.” ~ Dr. Bruce Lipton.

What will your autobiography say?  Are beach walks, hugs and turmeric/ginger tea sounding good?

Tuesday at Noon Eastern let’s share some great ways in which we can #riseup to deserving good health.
