Dear Friends of AFRIKIN, We send you gratitude and grace in all ways as this unique year draws to a close. Allow us to take this opportunity to thank you for being there for us through this trying year. We faced challenges and opportunities that made us laugh, cry, heal, and mourn. Whether it was close family, friends, or loved ones, we have realized now more than ever the power in being kin. Our global community showed up in ways like never before to support us. We are still amazed by the number of people who tuned in to our online programs and continue to share them. As we celebrate Kwanzaa the annual celebration of African-American culture that is held from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a communal feast called Karamu we ask you to stay safe and healthy and look forward to a prosperous new year with you. |
