From Playful Cubs to Harsh Realities

Exciting News: The HESC cheetah cubs have moved to their larger boma! Watching them take this next step fills us with all kinds of emotions, but mostly happiness - they’re growing fast and now have even more space to explore. HESC will continue to keep us updated with videos and photos, so we can follow along as these young cubs embark on their next adventures.

In Sad News: The lioness with a snare, previously seen at Camelthorn, has sadly been found dead. This serves as a harsh reminder of the very real threats of snaring and poaching that wild animals face. The teams on the ground, who searched tirelessly to locate her, were heartbroken by the outcome.

We share these updates with heavy hearts, but also with hope - through awareness and support, we can continue to work toward protecting these incredible animals and their habitats.
