Subject: SafariSnap Tips & Tricks!

Watch this clever little predator in action! The green-backed heron might be small, but its fishing game is next level. Using stealth and precision, it waits patiently before striking with lightning speed.

🦁 SafariSnap Tips from the Africam Team 🦓

To help keep our animal sightings fun, fair, and accurate, please keep these guidelines in mind when tagging your snaps:

  1. ⏳ Snap Expiry Time:
We delete snaps after 2 hours, but don’t worry—if your tag is a general species tag (e.g., "raptor"), you’ll have time to fine-tune when you know the exact species.

  2. 🐆 Special Note on HESC Cheetahs:
Please do not tag the HESC cheetahs (Tammy or Becky) using the general "cheetah" tag. Use "Tammy" and "Becky" instead.
Fair play tip: Only tag them once per day.

  3. 🌍 Tag Based on Location:
Some animals are East African species and should only be tagged at ol Donyo or Lentorre cameras:

    • Striped Hyena

    • Thomson’s Gazelle

    • Grant’s Gazelle

    • Defassa Waterbuck

  4. 🔍 Snap Clarity Matters:
We must be able to clearly identify the animal in your snap. It's okay if the animal is far away—as long as we can tell what it is! If it's too blurry or unclear, we’ll have to delete it.

Thanks for helping us keep SafariSnaps awesome and accurate!
