Dear Brothers & Sisters: Peace!
The Chinese Mission Convention (CMC) South 2018 will be held at the Hilton-Americas and the GR Brown Convention Center on December 26-29, in Houston! The theme is Living in Light of Eternity: Unleashed! Together for God’s Global Glory. We are expecting over 2500 attendees from different backgrounds, in all stages of life.
Praise the Lord! Currently, CMC South 2018 registration has reached 2,284. Both the Children and Youth groups have limited spots left. Please pray for the promotion of the English and Chinese Student group attendees. Please, ask God to bring more people to these two groups. Praise the Lord! Although we still have a long way to raise all the necessary funds for CMC, we have seen an increase in donations via registration. Also, sponsoring churches have donated significant funds. CMC still has financial needs, including scholarship funds. Please continue to pray for the Lord to provide everything for CMC. Please pray for the Logistics team. Praise the Lord He brought people from seven different churches to serve as logistics leaders for the different departments. They are united as a team to serve all the attendees: helping with check-in, serving as ushers, putting up signs, moving heavy boxes, taking meal tickets and more. May God guide them and give them wisdom and strength. Please pray for the 400+ volunteers serving in the different areas at CMC South 2018.
