Habitat does much more than build new homes
Since 2011, Habitat has been helping families with their home repair needs.  From doors to floors, our
Home Preservation program has you covered.
How does it work?

Like our new home program, families partner with Habitat for a low-cost alternative to traditional construction.

Our Home Preservation team assesses repairs, determines the scope of work, and completes the work with the help of volunteers.

Families contribute “sweat equity” toward their project and make an affordable monthly payment.
Why is it important?

Home Preservation allows families to continue living in their homes while creating safe and healthy living conditions.

As a bonus, it helps keep our community looking great and extends the life of our current housing stock.
How Can I Help?

We are seeking a part-time volunteer to join Terry and the Home Preservation team.

The Home Preservation team typically works Tuesday-Friday, 8:30-4:00 so there is plenty of flexibility.

A construction background is preferred, but not required.  Must pass a background check.
