Youthworks


Youthworks is continuing its partnership with Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity by sending youth groups from all over the country to volunteer in our ReStore! Each week a group of teens age 14 and up, work on painting, recycling, and upcycling projects that benefit our mission and raise funds for affordable housing in our community!


Ladies, be sure to check out our freshly painted bathroom next time you shop ReStore. With a little recycled Greensheen paint and some upcycled fan blades, we have totally transformed the space! 

Volunteers Needed:

  • Construction Meal Coordinator - 8 hrs. a week

  • Resource Development Volunteer - 8 hrs. a week

  • ReStore Loading Dock Volunteer - 5 hrs. a week

  • Site Photographer - 5 hrs. a month

  • Construction Meal Provider - 4 hrs. a month

  • Snack Provider - 2 hrs. a month

  • Events Committee Volunteer - 4 hrs. a month

Welcome Home Tracy!


On Monday dozens of people from across the community came together to celebrate and pray over Tracy as she received the keys to her new home! Tracy completed the Habitat program in six months and is looking forward to enjoying her new backyard!


 

"It's time to live in a Habitat for Humanity home; I would like to have a backyard for family to hang out in."
