Open Staff Positions

Construction Supervisor

Home Repair

Complete assigned Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity's home repair projects in a timely manner, with safety first.


Full-time position

Donor Relations Ambassador

This team member plays a key role in Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity's aspirational goals to increase philanthropic giving.


Full-time position

Grants and Compliance Administrator

The Grants & Compliance Administrator will identify, develop, monitor, evaluate and perform grant activities including writing grant applications and grant reports.


Part-time position

ReStore Dock/Warehouse Supervisor

Manage the donations and the donations process, including donor interaction, donation evaluation, warehouse logistics and flow.



Full-time position

ReStore Associate--Rapid City or Spearfish

Works in all areas of the retail store, interacting with donors, customers and volunteers.

Volunteer Positions

Volunteer Coordinator

Activities would include volunteer orientation, volunteer recordkeeping, recruitment and scheduling of individual and group volunteers, lead in volunteer appreciation and retention efforts.


Time commitment:

Average 15 hours per week

Administrative Assistant

 Working directly with BHAHFH staff to complete regular administrative tasks and special projects.

Time commitment:

10 hours per week

Site Photographer

Photograph construction activities on various build sites, corporate and church build days, as well as home dedications.  Amount of time needed per month can vary based on time of year and number of volunteer groups scheduled.


Time commitment:

5 hours per month

ReStore Volunteer

Various positions available in both Rapid City and Spearfish stores:

  • Cashier

  • Dock and warehouse volunteer

  • Donation ambassador

  • Sales support volunteer
