South Dakota’s first-ever state-wide giving day kicks off at midnight on November 27 and continues until 11:59 p.m. Nonprofits across the state will unite to celebrate generosity. Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity is participating in South Dakota’s first-ever Day of Giving. 
Why Participate?
People like you who love South Dakota have an opportunity to ignite a movement of giving all across the state.

When you give to participating nonprofits on South Dakota Day of Giving, the causes you choose to support have the opportunity to win prize money from the South Dakota Prize Pool. 

It doesn’t matter if you give $5 or $5 million. Every gift you make, every post you like, every tweet you share, raises the chances a nonprofit has to win prize money.

The best part?
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the nonprofit of your choice. South Dakota Gives is a platform in which to give and will not take any portion of your donation.
How to give on Nov. 27?
1) Online via South Dakota Gives. Go to www.southdakotagives.org and click on Participants. Find your favorite organization, click on its logo that takes you to a donation page.
2) Directly online. Follow the steps on your favorite organization’s website or social media sites to donate directly.
3) Check. Bring a check to the office of your favorite nonprofit’s office during normal working hours.
