Volunteer News: 2018 in Review
It has been a year of highs and lows, but we have completed the 2018 calendar year with 6 new homes, 15 home repairs, and 764 volunteers committing 13,603 hours to our ReStore, office, and construction sites! |

Just before Christmas we installed the carpet on the stairs at 613 Lemmon. This was the final act of construction and a bitter sweet moment for our staff and volunteers. In 7 months,100 build days, our staff and 64 volunteers were able to complete this home. Each and every one of us look forward to celebrating with Marcus when we dedicate his new home in March!

A special thanks to Thrivent Financial and Cal Sievers for their support throughout the years and the building of 613 Lemmon. Through the Thrivent Builds grant program, Thrivent Financial supported a major part of the cost of the house and assisted in encouraging local churches to commit their time, talent, and treasure to complete the project. Mr. Sievers played a major role throughout the process in association with Thrivent! |
