  This Week in the Lighthouse

Hi Friend,

It's tax time again.  What's your relationship like with the IRS?  Have you had your divorce yet?

One of our members has sent detailed and incisive documents in her divorce process in order to clearly establish her position on the record.

Of course the IRS has no serious or professional reply to the issues raised.  Can you imagine that?  All they have in their arsenal is to ignore the issues raised and come back and, whatever you have submitted, their reply is something akin to: "Your arguments are frivlolous".

Hmmm. My documents are based entirely on the law with specific references in support, soooo thennn I guess you're saying the law is frivolous?  That sounds a little like something which should be taken up with Congress!

Here's an overview of one case history below.  Whether you might need it now or not, surely it'll hold some entertainment value (if your sense of humor is twisted like mine) so you might want to take a look.
They Say 'Frivolous', so now what?

OK so our member, I'll call her Sue', has done a great job setting the record with material found in the IRS Freedom Course and, of course as you might expect when the IRS doesn't have an answer, they come back with a long letter with no substantive reply to any legitimate point of law raised (par for the course).

Included in the IRS extortion letter were:
  • the brochure 'Why do I have to pay taxes?'
  • some very direct threats of criminal prosecution for failure to submit.
  • a long list of statutory codes from which the IRS presumably derives its authority to assess and collect taxes.
Well, if you've read my book 'How I Beat Satan...and the IRS' you already know by now that by giving this threatening brow beating (which I received indirectly from the IRS via Sue in providing her support) is like giving a kid a brand new, super cool toy!  Red alert sirens for 'fraud'  immediately started flashing in my mind and so, without further flourish, here's what we did.

  • did a quick detailed review of the letter to identify illegal, incorrect and misleading information, mis-representations and abuse of the law, etc. (the entire letter)
  • to add more ammunition to what Sue had previously submitted I reviewed the Taxpayers Bill of Rights, which is IRS Publication 1 and, as always, there was plenty of material to work with there.
  • Based on the IRS' extortion letter, Sue's previous submissions and the Taxpayer Bill of Rights, we came up with this reply to further set the record for Sue.  Click Here and have a look.
Hopefully, you can learn from this as one example of how to deal with the mob when they refuse to follow the law.

By the way, Sue is also suing the IRS for documents they don't have in the U.S. Tax Court.

Now, let me make a very important point here!

The IRS Freedom Course is not intended to have the IRS go running away from you in fear!  In fact, they usually persist and 'Don't' always go away and people say 'Mark this doesn't work!'.  Au contraire mon frere!

If you've watched, listened and learned the point of the video workshop 'THE PREVIOUS TAXPAYER', (which is included in your package or membership) we have NO expectation that ANYTHING we do will change the behavior of the IRS.  Get that through your head!

What the PT workshop and the IRS Freedom Course is intended to do is to put you in a position where;

A) they can't come after your criminally because you've set the record that you're acting in good faith (not criminally),

B) you have secured your income, bank accounts and property so they can't steal from you or hurt you in any way.  (that's another project)

That's how you beat them!  If they can't prosecute you and they can't steal from you, what can they do?  Stomp and scream and threaten and then what?

That's when you know you're free!

Upgrading to Global Entrepreneur is a big step in that direction and learning to work through trusts is another.

So the question to you Friend is:  "What's the next step in your plan?"

That's all for now.  Have a great week ahead!

Blessings!

Mark

P.S.  In case you missed last week's notice about 'Help Wanted' I'm including it again here for your convenience.
How would you like to live in Panama?

We have some major developments forming on several fronts in the background which are going to move THE LIGHTHOUSE LAW CLUB and related activities to the next level and perhaps beyond.  As our recent efforts are getting noticed and gaining some real traction, we're gearing up to start handling some major new member inflows and some substantial asset management and supporting activity to go along with that.  We're going to need professional competent help (extremely rare in Panama).  This might be your chance to 'bug out' and make that change in your life that will really make a difference.

Here's what you are likely to expect:
  • a cut in pay
  • little to no benefits, and...
  • new friends, freedom and fun in a new Panama lifestyle which will more than double your current overall happiness and contentment in life which the French would call 'joie de vivre'!.
Here's what we're looking for;

  • Administration:  detail oriented people who can grasp complex but logical processes, proofread, assure quality control of work product and be productive and results oriented.
  • Art, Graphics & Media: skilled with graphic arts programs, audio & video production & editing, creation of advertising material and knowledgable of publishing venues on the internet.
  • Sales:  Sales closers who love phone work, helping people, solving problems and making money.
  • Marketing:  Developing marketing strategies directed towards specific target markets, executing the plan, testing, measuring the metrics, refining and improving numbers all based on measurable results.
  • Customer Service:  providing the guidance and solutions oriented results to handle new member intake and orientation, to solve member issues and address their needs.
  • Copywriters:  Advanced thinkers who are knowledgable in our field of endeavor and who are able to professionally express themselves in the written word to convey themes, issues and concepts succinctly but with a flourish while maintaining a solid command of good grammar and an above average vocabulary.
  • IT: Information Technology tech(s) to maintain hardware, software, program integrations, communications, security, networking and more.
It is possible that some positions may be able to work remotely via virtual office, at least for a time without the need to relocate.  But our ultimate goal is to have the majority of our team in the same geographic location.

If you might be interested, please send a professional cover letter expressing what your professional interest is, why you'd like to live in Panama and why you feel you'd be qualified for consideration, along with a separate list of accomplishments in the field of interest. (we don't care about your resume, only what you've accomplished and/or samples of your work product).

You can address the letter to:
