So we know there is no Santa Claus (bummer!) and we know Jesus wasn't really born on Dec. 25th. And we know that much, if not most, of the season's symbols and traditions are pagan, so it begs the question, 'What are we really doing here?"
Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas! People are more cheerful, I love the decorations, the food, the music, the activities and overall ambiance. But mostly, it's a time when we get together with friends and family to enjoy some peace, some time together and reflect on the blessings we have. That's worth quite a bit in my view.
So then, what better opportunity is there to stir up some interesting conversation about how we should be more like Jesus. After all, it's his birth that is the center of Christmas. What do I mean, 'be more like Jesus?' I'm talking about, for example, standing firm in the truth, exposing the (modern day) pharisees for their hypocrisy, rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's and nothing more! We should be discussing how we can choose to contribute to evil or contribute our talents and resources to use for the good! These are all legitimate discussions and it's all in harmony with the season!
It's full of truth, law, common sense, supporting scripture and it will be the center of the most 'heated' conversation you'll have all holiday season! And with this ammunition you'll win every argument! Now won't that be fun!
Finally you get to show cousin Louie what a fool he is and shut him up once and for all! Now if that isn't a great Christmas present for the rest of your family, I don't know what is!

Here's what you do this year: You dispense with many of the meaningless trivialities you usually do for Christmas. Instead, order a box of these 'head openers'. Get a dozen or more and give them out as gifts. It'll cost you much less than a dinner out with the wife and kids!
And think about this, it's not the book that's the gift, it's how you might change someone's life for the better with the knowledge contained in the book that should be the real motivator!
