Strange and Familiar: Architecture on Fogo Island was selected as the ADFF opening night film in 2015. It’s an uplifting story that shows how the power of architecture and design can bring a community together. The film's protagonist, Zita Cobb, through her vision and leadership, helps a remote fishing village at the edge of the world to reinvigorate itself, by building on its deep-rooted strengths as a community. As we see every day in the world we live, leadership matters. This small community of Fogo Island is a great example how positive leadership and good design can make the world a better place.

Tonight's ADFF@NeoConnect program would not be possible without the generous support of NeoCon,  Eventscape, Teknion and NEEZO Studios
