ADFF's London screening of Green Over Gray: Emilio Ambasz at the V&A Museum was a blast. We can't wait to bring the entire festival to London next season.

For now, we're excited to share two more of this season's films. Tickets are on sale for ADFF:NY and LA. Canada audiences stay tuned—Vancouver tickets will be available on October 1 and Toronto tickets on October 8.

We The Others

2024 / 55 min / Italy

Director: Francesca Molteni

We The Others is a captivating film about Brazilian brothers and design icons Fernando and Humberto Campana whose studio, Estudio Campana, gained international recognition for its unique approach to design. Over the past 40 years, the Campana brothers left an indelible mark on the design world, blurring the lines between art, craft, and furniture.

Shot several years after Fernando’s passing, Humberto, the surviving brother, leads audiences through the brothers’ humble beginnings, their prolific creative journey, and their enduring commitment to social and environmental impact.

Living in a Piece of Furniture – Gerrit Rietveld's Houses

2024 / 52 min / Netherlands

Director: Lex Reitsma

Known for his Red and Blue Chair and the groundbreaking Schröder House, architect Gerrit Rietveld believed that homes should function like living sculptures. Living in a Piece of Furniture focuses on the iconic 1924 Rietveld Schröderhuis, the first house that Rietveld designed, in collaboration with and for Truus Schröder, a Dutch socialite and decades-long friend of Rietveld’s. Exploring several of Rietveld’s private residential projects through the experiences of their current residents, this film reveals how his design philosophy shaped not only the spaces themselves but the lives within them
