His trailblazing ideas brought design-conscious thinking to big business.  His impact on companies like IBM and Mobil paved the way for Apple and many of the other design-conscious brands we know today With this year’s film, director Jason Cohn considers contemporary questions about the role of a designer in today's world.

Renowned directors Louise Lemione and Ila Beka are back with another incredible story to tell. Through a series of vignettes at architects Herzog & De Meuron’s REHAB Basel, this film demonstrates what can happen when the usually drab space of a rehabilitation center is replaced by a modern masterpiece whose very design aids recovery.

In My Architect, director Nathanial Kahn takes us on a heartbreaking and humorous journey of his attempts to reconnect with his deceased father, renowned architect Louis I. Kahn. ADFF:Vancouver presented by All in Pictures and Vancouver Special will take place at VIFF Centre and Hollywood Theatre. Tickets will go on sale on October 1.

ADFF:Chicago will take place at the Chicago Architecture Center and The Mart. Tickets will go on sale in December.
