Subject: ADFF:NY kicks off Oct 16. ADFF:Vancouver tickets now on sale

ADFF:NY will open this Wednesday, Oct 16th, so if you’re in the New York metro area this week, we look forward to seeing you.

You can purchase tickets online or at the box office during the festival. Don't miss the four world premieres: The New Bauhaus; GOFF; James Hubbell - Between Heaven and Earth; and What it Takes to Make a Home. Additionally, there are seven US premiers: Architecture of Infinity; City Dreamers; Gateways to NY; The Man & the Architect - Jørn Utzon; Mario Botta: The Space Beyond; Of Vineyards and Shoeboxes; and PUSH. Lastly, there are several NY premieres including: A Poetics of Living; That Far Corner - Frank Lloyd Wright in Los Angeles; and The Human Shelter.

Additionally, there will be more than 20 speakers during the festival. For your comfort, there’s a festival lounge, a cool place to hang out and browse.  There will be 15 programs; 13 qualify for CEU credits.


ADFF IS HEADING NORTH 

This week, tickets go on sale for ADFF:Vancouver. Next week, for ADFF:Toronto.

ADFF will be making its debut in Canada with ADFF:Vancouver from November 7 -10, 2019. Presenting sponsors are All In Pictures and Vancouver Special. ADFF:Vancouver will showcase 25 films at two great venues: Vancity Theatre and the Scotiabank Dance Centre.

Legendary landscape architect Cornelia Hahn Oberlander, resident of Vancouver, is one of the protagonists in the opening night film City Dreamers. Join the film’s director Joseph Hillel for a post-screening Q&A and reception.

Architect and professor from Sci-Arc, Liam Young will be on hand for a live narration of his 45-minute film City Everywhere: Stories from the Post Anthropocene. Following the screening, architect Chris Dorey and Liam Young will be in conversation.

Sunday, Nov 10 @ 3:00

Architect Douglas Cardinal and film director Andrée Cazbon will be in a talk after the screening of her film Douglas Cardinal: Architect of the Future.

Sunday, Nov 10 @ 5:00 followed by a talk
