Five Living Buildings (by Renzo Piano)

A meditation on the often-invisible impact of architecture, told through the experiences of people who use and maintain buildings. Googie 

Coffee shops, bowling alleys, car washes, banks, and churches were designed not just for function, but to captivate motorists cruising by. Rooted in Los Angeles, the movement drew inspiration from architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and John Lautner. Máximapark- from Greenhouses to a Living Landscape 

Only 25 years ago it was still home to greenhouse growers; today Visitors come here to find peace, experience, and movement.  The film Máximapark is an ode to the power of collaboration, the importance of heritage, and the beauty of a landscape in which people and nature strengthen one another. Co-presented by Metropolis and Dutch USA  Tickets and more info.

MUNDO FRÁGIL 

The road movie takes artist-filmmakers Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine across Chile with architect Smiljan Radić. Bêka & Lemoine turn their lens on one of most singular architectural minds, whose work refuses easy categorization. Winner of the 2026 Pritzker. The Chilean terrain becomes the frame through which the film asks how place, myth, and physical matter shape an architect's imagination. Tickets & more info.

OUT OF THE PICTURE 

The film explores the invisibilisation of women in the history of architecture, a discipline long dominated by men. Through the voices of Denise Scott Brown and others, the film investigates the cultural and institutional mechanisms that erased their contributions, while highlighting the solidarities and strategies they develop.  Co-presented by Walllonie-Bruxelles International Tickets & info.

The Tingbjerg Experiment 

A documentary portrait that goes beyond the prejudices about one of Copenhagen’s most notorious districts. Over the course of several years, the neighborhood’s population is set to double, and private homes will be built among the public housing. The Tower That Built A City 

In the 1970s, Toronto set out to build the world’s tallest tower- partly out of necessity, and partly to escape Montreal’s shadow. The World in a Square 

A political activist, an astronomer, a tattoo artist, a cook, and a babysitter rarely cross paths. What connects them is that they all live in Nørrebro, Denmark’s most socially and ethnically diverse neighbourhood. A park was built at its heart to bring the community together.
