Subject: ADFF for the holidays 🎁

December 20, 2022

When the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, ADFF pivoted from in-person screenings to online screenings. It was just the push we needed to expand our audiences from exclusively cities where ADFF is presented to film lovers across the US and Canada.

ADFF:Online now takes place after the in-person festivals conclude. For a limited time, anyone can watch the 15 film programs and Q&As from ADFF 2022/23. This is a perfect opportunity for those who missed the festival this year or didn't get to see everything they wanted. And if there is a film you saw, loved, and want to share, this is a great way to reach out to your friends with the gift of ADFF.

It's easy to give an ADFF ticket.

To give a single ticket, just follow these easy steps:

1) Go to ADFF:Online

2) Click on the film you want to share.

3) Click: ❤️ Give as a gift

4) Add the email of the person who is receiving the gift and an optional message.

5) Pay.

If you want to give a larger gift, consider the 🌟All-Access Pass🌟 which allows your loved one to watch any or all ADFF:Online programs.

As an ADFF Newsletter subscriber, you get the gift of a holiday discount. Click here to purchase your All-Access Pass or Fist-Full (5 films) before the end of the year and get a 20% discount with the code HOLIDAYS22.

ADFF:Online is only available in the US and Canada. To watch in the US, you must pay in USD at checkout. To watch in Canada, pay in CAD.

ADFF:DC January 26-29, 2023

ADFF:DC will take place at National Building Museum. The structure of this festival is slightly different than our typical festival. Tickets will be sold by the day rather than per screening. To see the daily schedule click here. Then follow the links to purchase tickets.

The opening night film will be Alice Street (top left), followed by a panel and then a party!

On Friday, there will be a panel after the screenings of Segregated by Design (middle left) and Committee of Six. The panel looks at redlining – the illegal, discriminatory practice of denying financial services based on race or ethnicity.

Sunday will close the festival with a Go-go brunch followed by a screening of Barry Farm: Community, Land and Justice in Washington, DC (bottom left).

ADFF:DC is presented with the National Building Museum and the Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.

ADFF:CHICAGO February 1-5, 2023

ADFF:Chicago is now back on our annual season tour. The festival will take place at the beautiful Chicago Architecture Center. We will transform the Skyscraper gallery into the Skyscraper theatre along with the other existing theatre. There will also be a special selection of short films showing for free throughout the festival. The complete list of speakers and short films will be announced in the new year.

Tickets are on sale now with a discount for CAC members. Get your tickets soon, screenings are likely to sell out early.

As we wrap up 2022 and get ready for 2023, we want to take a moment to acknowledge some companies, organizations, firms, and individuals who offer their support in countless ways. Thank you for helping us bring the best design films to large audiences around the world.
