ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN FILM FESTIVAL RETURNS TO NEW YORK CITY

Now in its fourth season, the acclaimed Architecture & Design Film Festival returns to Tribeca Cinemas October 18 - 21, 2012. The four-day festival includes a diverse line-up of more than twenty-five films from eleven countries, accompanied by lively discussions with filmmakers, architects, designers and industry leaders. The 2012 Architecture & Design Film Festival opens on October 18th with the world premiere of Design is One: Lella & Massimo Vignelli, a retrospective of the work and relationship of these two seminal figures, by filmmakers Roberto Guerra and Kathy Brew.
Also opening on October 18th, the Festival will screen the U.S. premiere of 16 Acres, directed by Richard Hankin. Presented in collaboration with the Municipal Arts Society, the film, which tells the dramatic story of the development of plans for rebuilding the World Trade Center site, will be shown in the Time Warner Center's Allen Room, located in midtown Manhattan.
ADFF has designated  25 films as official selections of the 2012 Festvail at Tribeca Cinemas. In the upcoming newletters we will highlight other films  that will be screened at the October festival.
