Subject: ADFF Newsletter 8 25 2011

Dear Friend,

While it’s sad to see summer coming to an end, there’s something exciting to look forward to this fall.

From October 19 – 23, the Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) returns to Tribeca Cinemas with an all new line-up of films, talks and panel discussions.  Now in our third year, ADFF is thrilled with the quantity and quality of films that have come our way!  We're in the process of curating these films into 14 programs comprised of shorts and feature-length films.  We plan to announce our new films and programs in the upcoming weeks on our website (www.adfilmfest.com) and in future newsletters.

2011 New York Sponsors Announced:

Elle Decor Magazine, one of the nation's leading home design magazines, is ADFF's consumer shelter magazine sponsor in New York.  Elle Decor will participate on the festival's panel discussions and will also serve as a co-host for various festival and pre-festival events.

Architect Magazine is the official magazine of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and our industry media partner. Architect magazine goes to the entire AIA membership.  AIANY will work with ADFF to offer Continuing Education Credits for architects.

 Around the world with ADFF

ADFF has been asked to present our programming

at other festivals around the world. Last year, we brought films to Design Week in Mexico City and will return there again in October 2011.  In July, we were invited to screen films at the Festival International of Cinema in Barichara, Columbia, and in November, we'll be

in Bulgaria at the Sofia International Film Festival.

ARCHTOBER!!

The Architecture & Design Film Festival is a proud participant of ARCHTOBER -  a month-long festival of architecture activities, programs and exhibitions in New York City. ADFF’s opening night film will be announced at the September 1st  Archtober press conference taking place at the Center for Architecture.

Thanks again for all of your support – please stay tuned for details on upcoming events, films, panels, and more!
