Inter-disciplinary academic conference to be held June 16

On behalf of the American Center for Mongolian Studies Cultural Heritage Program in collaboration with BioRegions International, I am pleased to announce an open poster symposium an upcoming conference “Transdisciplinary Research in Mongolia: Bridging the Cultural-Natural Science Divide” on June 16th, 2017 at the American Corner, Natsagdorj Library, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This conference will explore the strategies that researchers in Mongolia use to explore the relationships between the Social/Cultural Sciences and the Natural/Earth Sciences.
Todays’ complex problems and research questions require complex research efforts that employ both depth of knowledge and inter-disciplinary collaboration. Of particular interest for this conference are presentations that describe the application of particularly interesting, innovative, or surprising cross-discipline approaches. Participating organizations will come from both sides of the cultural-natural divide.

The conference will be held in English. This conference will have both poster and oral presentation formats. A series of invited speakers will present on their research and interdisciplinary efforts. If you would like to participate in this conference by presenting a poster in one of the poster sessions, please register with the following information no later than June 14, 2017:
