Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the American Center for Mongolian Studies. We are so thankful for our members, fellows, students, alumni, donors, and others in the Mongolian Studies community who make this organization what it is today. Thanksgiving is not only a time to be thankful for what we have, but also a time of giving.
This past year ACMS worked with well over 400 people, many of whom are the bright young people who represent the next generation of conservationists, scientists, archaeologists, historians, linguists, musicologists, professors, teachers, librarians, archivists, artists, and so many more--young people who love Mongolia as much as you do and are eager to follow in your footsteps.
While we are often implored to "give back" at the holidays, this year I ask you instead to help us pay it forward and be the future of experiential learning. Be the future of K-12 education. Be the future of language learning. Be the future of cultural exchange. Be the future of ACMS, so you can be the future of Mongolian Studies.
So mark your calendar and keep your eye on our newsletter, website, and social media platforms for more info about how to help us kick off this holiday season right. Thank you for all you do, have a happy and restful holiday.
