XVIII ANNUAL MONGOLIAN STUDIES CONFERENCE

The Mongolian Cultural Center is pleased to invite you to submit a paper for consideration for the XVIII Annual Mongolian Studies Conference.
Papers are invited for the 2026 conference, with a focus on Mongolian Studies subjects such as Mongolian language, history, religion, arts, culture, literature, anthropology as well as papers that address Mongolian social, economic, and cultural issues are also welcome. The papers must be original work of the author(s) and can be written and presented in either Mongolian or English. However, presenters who are planning on presenting in Mongolian must submit a full English translation of the paper at least one month prior to the conference.
Submission deadline for paper abstracts is November 17, 2025. Abstracts must not exceed 500 words. If your paper is selected, you will receive an email from us by November 28, 2025.
Please note that if your paper is selected, we will ask you to submit your full paper by 01/20/2024 as we print the conference proceedings before the conference.
Prerequisite for presenting at the conference is payment of a $80 conference fee, which entitles you to 2-day attendance (including breakfast and lunch), conference proceedings book, and the closing reception. The conference will be held at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History located at 10th Street and Constitution Avenue NW, Washington D.C. 20560
