Subject: I'm going on a mission trip to ...

It's my 25th anniversary — of taking mission trips.

This time I’m headed to Madagascar, a place I’ve never been and truthfully never thought I would go.

But that’s what I love about mission trips, they take me to new places. I'm looking forward to assisting the doctors, dentists and nurses and other medical professionals who care for the people we meet, before starting my preaching assignment.

This is where I need your help. I want to bless the church and community I’m assigned to and help cover my expenses for the trip. This trip, like my others, is self-supported.

Would you please make a donation? It is tax deductible.

How it all started

When I turned 50 years old, I said to God that I wanted to give Him a special birthday present. A present that did not require anybody's affirmation, approval or help. He said to me, ‘What do you love to do?’

And I said, ‘I love to travel.’

And he said, ‘That's it.’

And that's how my mission trips began. Between mission trips and speaking engagements at women's conferences, I’ve done at least 22 trips. My first trip was to Costa Rica and Panama with Maranatha Volunteers to build a church in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. It was hot, hard work, not best suited for my skill set. Now, I travel and preach in various parts of the world.

I love it because while there God explained my purpose. Watch this video to hear what God told me.

Please help support my trip to Madagascar and help me share a generous gift with the church there.
