Subject: rank on Google + insider tip

Your latest blog post.

Your new YouTube video.

How do you get them to rank high on Google so people find them?

Use Keywords.

Now, you probably know that I'm not a big fan of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

In other words, you shouldn't worry about what Google wants when you're putting together your content.

But you should keep your eye on what your readers want!

And Keywords will tell them that.

Also, Keywords tell the search engines WHAT your blog or video is about.

Without good keywords, they won't rank your content, and your readers won't find it.

So...

Pick your keyword carefully.

After you pick your keyword, create content that provides what the user would be looking for when they perform a search for that keyword.

And here's the insider tip for you...

Create a content plan for your keyword.

Once you have your primary keyword, develop a content plan for how you’ll

use it.

Decide if the keyword should be a timely blog post, evergreen content, or a landing page.

Decide how long the content should be.

AND...

Review content that currently ranks for that same keyword.

THEN...

Try to create a page that is more valuable and better organized.

Doing these things goes a long way to helping your content rank high in Google search.

But there's something equally important to do.

I'll talk about that next.
