Subject: Would you want to take this (witchy) class?

At some point in the middle of leading the workshop/retreat, "If Quakers Were Witches..." I hit a moment when I didn't know what to do next.

Not because there weren't options.

But because there were just so many possibilities of what we could do.

There was a need for more healing. For more history. For more rituals. For people to share their stories - heck, to learn some of what I've learned about how to tell stories (especially about parts of ourselves we often have hidden or kept undercover or have been forced to be hidden by others) well. For further integration and deep listening. To develop theology/beliefs from practice, not just theory.

I landed on creating a collective experience around blessings. It was a great way forward.

But that sense of 'so much to engage with here' has stayed with me.

‘Why don’t you teach a course on witchy-stuff,’ one of my elders asked me. And not just for Quakers.

I was surprised. Really? Well, it is one of the things I often get asked to speak on.... specifically the connections between the witch hunts and the doctrine of discovery/colonization. It keeps coming up in my 1-1 work. I've written on a lot of different aspects of these topics. Do I have enough material to pull a course together? Yes, I think I do. But is there enough interest?

That's what this email is about.

Creating new courses takes a lot of energy. I'm not going to create it if there is not much interest.

So - help me out!

Let's see if we can figure this out... before Samhain/Halloween!
