Subject: New episode: Mapping the Inner Landscape

Hi Friend,

I’m so delighted to be sharing this episode with Lisa DeLay – a contemporary contemplative woman, based in the contemplative Christian tradition and the hostess of the “Spark My Muse” podcast, which I have been very much enjoying. I met her at a faith and spiritual podcasters conference I attended back in October (more on that later…). She has one of those personalities where she neither takes up a lot of space nor do you forget your conversations with her.

I subsequently read her book, The Wild Lands Within, which explores some of what people encounter when we do inner work. That book led to the book she is now working on, about the Desert Fathers and Mothers - an early Christian movement in Egypt. Perhaps unsurprisingly, in this podcast episode, we explore material from both books. I ended up drawing a "map" of the inner landscape that she describes (which is up on the podcast episode).

I know many of you are fascinated with the inner landscape, and how it connects to our outer social and ecological landscapes, and I encourage you to send me your cartography stories!

Sometimes I think that’s part of what our circular time calendars help people to do: to reflect on the inner, outer, abs ecological cycles of their lives: to both understand their own questions ss well as what life is asking of them.

We have just started our circular time season- which I almost want to say is my favorite season of the year, but I love all of our offerings and I don’t play favorites!

Please do join us.

You know that we don’t offer sales because we don’t follow the normal rules of marketing… we offer sliding scales and fair prices for the quality.

That said, we are raising our top prices for circular time (which is currently $77) about 14% to $88 in 2025… which is SOON!!!

So I do encourage you to sign up for this super valuable offering ( it’s worth so so much more than that) really soon!

Meanwhile- enjoy this super rich podcast!
