Here's the backstory.

Many of you have had the opportunity to interact with our assistant, Michael, who lives in the Philippines. His primary work is back-end tech, administrative, and audio editing, enabling a lot of our creative courses, wonderful webinars, beautiful booklets, and other ways to serve your journeys of remembering and reenchanting! So I'm very appreciative of his ongoing work for us.

Michael came in with an interest in developing our social media presence. I don't like the 'canned' images which I see everywhere on social media. After some rather hilarious false starts, it became apparent that Michael has a real gift for creating graphic images, especially collage-style, using Canva. Some of these make it out to install posts, booklets, or webinar graphics. But a lot of them don't 'get out there', or perhaps very briefly.

Michael's talent in this area has been a totally unexpected gift that has bloomed with continued practice and space for creativity, in turn shaping our work.

Creativity is one of our core values. with any 'real' creative endeavor, you often don't know where it is going to end up. So I've been storing them, looking for the moment when it is right to share some of the collection. Which is now.

As we prepare for the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago this August, we thought we would take some of these images out of their folders and look at them again. We are going to print some cool stickers (probably as free gifts/handouts), and have some of the images running in the background of our exhibit space'. In the future, I could see other things - cards for different seasons, the development of a more substantial circular calendar handbook, etc.

Right now, in the midst of Summer, we want to share the images with you and invite you to tell us which ones resonate and that you find enticing. Feel free to share thoughts about ways you might like to see them used.

And I hope you are finding ways to nurture the creative talents of your networks and teams. Sometimes, it's not clear what the 'output' is going to be. That's ok. It might take a while to see where the different pieces fit together.
