Light up the night this holiday season at Nashville Zoo’s Zoolumination — the country’s largest Chinese lantern festival opening this Friday. Guests will awe at 1,000+ all-new, hand-crafted silk lanterns, including towering animals, stunning florals, and beautifully reimagined scenes from Chinese folklore.
Dates and Time: Nightly from Nov. 17 to Jan. 7, and Thursday-Sunday from Jan. 11 to Feb. 4, 5 - 9 pm.
Venue: The event is presented at the zoo and features over 1,000 custom-made silk lanterns.
Highlights: North Pole Village: A festive area with lights, trees, and holiday fun. Santa visits nightly from Nov. 24 to Dec. 24.

Live Entertainment: Chinese acrobats and entertainers perform nightly at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 pm at the Amphitheater.
Animal Friends: Some animals, like the Sumatran tiger and flamingos, stay up until 8:30 pm.
Beverages: Hot cocoa, cider, beer, margaritas, specialty cocktails, coffee, and soda available for purchase until around 8:00 pm.
Food: Quills Cafe and Screaming Gibbon Pizza Kitchen open, and festive treats + classic Zoo snacks available at concession stands until around 8:00 pm.
