Subject: New Kits, Big Bonus / Ready to Stitch Something Beautiful

New kits just dropped * and there’s a special gift for new peyote stitchers!

Happy Saturday,

I hope this newsletter finds you happy and healthy.

As a beader, teacher, and designer for over 35 years, I’ve had the joy of helping thousands of people learn the art of bead weaving. And over the years, one thing has become very clear:

Today’s new beaders are often left trying to learn bit by bit — grabbing tips from random videos or incomplete instructions online — and it’s frustrating. Especially when you're trying to make a project that’s above your skill level, or you’re unsure what needle to use, what thread works best, or even how to start or end your rows properly.

I’ve seen it all — and I know that struggling doesn’t have to be part of the process.

In my experience, the best way to learn peyote (or any stitch) is to start at the beginning — with the fundamentals — and follow a clear, logical progression. That’s how you build both confidence and mastery.

So today, I have something really special for those of you who want to learn peyote stitch the right way — or even for those of you who’ve been doing it a while but still feel unsure at times.

Special Offer:

Order any Beginner Peyote Kit (True Beginner, Comfortable Beginner, Confident Beader) and receive a 14-page “Technique Tuesday” Handout Package — printed, organized in page protectors, and ready to guide you.

This is more than just a bonus — it’s a priceless gift for anyone who wants to truly learn peyote stitch from the ground up.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need to build your foundation in Flat Peyote:

  • Even and Odd Count Peyote

  • How to Change Threads

  • Understanding Needles and Thread Choices

  • How to Read a Peyote Graph

  • And more...

It’s a complete learning system — the same one I’ve used to teach and inspire beaders for decades. Whether you're brand new or simply want to reinforce your skills, this is your path to confidence and mastery.

Just mention “Peyote Special” in the comments at checkout and I’ll include the full printed handout set with your order — no charge. *And don't worry more packets will soon be available as special purchase.

And there's more to come…

Don’t worry — this is just the beginning! I’ll be releasing additional Technique Tuesday Packets that dive deeper into the world of peyote stitch, including:

  • Tubular Peyote

  • Shaping Techniques

  • Sculptural Forms

  • Creative Variations

  • …and more.

These future packets will be available through special offers or for purchase, so you can continue building your skills step by step — with clarity, support, and joy in the process.

Have a great Weekend!

Oh and we have 3 new kits to show you!

Examples of Beginner Peyote Kits!

.This is a beautiful new kit designed by Ana Pat Chajud. It is sparkly, and the mix of gold, hematite, and white makes it a must-have for all occasions. It is hard to capture the levels and depth in a photo. It is delicate and lacy but solid. Made with Cubic Right angle weave embellished. It is in memory of her dog Precious who recently passed.

Inspired by our beloved Windows of St. Chapelle bracelet, this new earring kit brings the beauty of 13th-century Gothic stained glass to life in miniature form.

These have been on my to do list for at least 15 years. Right now available in Gold with indicolite or silver with amethyst.

And finally, a long-time favorite that has been remade with the new and improved Luna cabs. I am told they won't get sticky. (However, recently my friend showed me that medical-grade adhesive remover pads and elbow grease can remove stickiness if you have old ones.

Bring Beading to Your Clubhouse

I've recently started teaching beading classes in local communities — and it’s been a joy to help people explore creativity and build confidence, one stitch at a time.

Right now, I’m teaching at Valencia Sound. These classes are limited to residents of that community, but if you live in a neighborhood with a clubhouse or community center and are interested in offering beading classes, I’d love to hear from you!

Let’s bring the joy of beading to your group — just reach out and we can talk about what’s possible.

Gibbs.... This picture makes me smile... Have a great week.
