| | Dear Friends, As Thanksgiving Day approaches, I find myself thanking the Lord more and more, not only for the opportunities we have set before us, but for those of you who make it possible for us stand in the gap for Nations, raise up intercessors to effectively pray for Nations, provide books and CDs free of charge, support missionaries around the world, and of course, serve in our very own backyard mission field—Seattle—through our CedarWood Int’l operations. We here at World for Jesus Ministries want to thank you for your willingness to stand with us throughout the year!
Here’s an update on what our own backyard mission is doing this week: CedarWood Pantry: Monday was our Thanksgiving Day Dinner distribution and it turned out to be a record-breaker for our CedarWood Pantry. Our team prepared and handed out nearly 112 full Thanksgiving Day Meal Kits projected to feed 382 people! We have an additional 10 that will go out today for a total of 122 Thanksgiving Day Meal Kits! (See photo above for a picture of our volunteers with our CedarWood Staff)
What a busy, yet exciting time this is for us at World for Jesus as the opportunity to reach into the community extends deep during this time of year. I cannot begin to tell you the number of salvations and answered prayer requests we’ve seen over the course of the last five years as we’ve had the privilege to serve these precious families. One thing that always touches is when our CedarWood Pantry Clients become CedarWood Pantry Volunteers! They are so deeply touched by the impact this outreach has on their own lives, they want to be part of impacting others!
CedarWood Outreach to the Homeless: the addition of our CedarWood Outreach to the Homeless brought greater opportunity to sow into the lives of those in areas previously unreachable by our teams. A hot meal, hot coffee/cocoa, and a bag with food and some basic toiletries, socks, is handed out each Saturday to anywhere from 75-99 homeless. We’ve had the opportunity to provide tarps, sleeping bags, even jackets, shoes, and clothes as well. Everyone is offered prayer but not all accept. There was a young lady our team encountered this past Saturday, when they approached her, she was laying in a parking lot, unresponsive. Our team persisted, and she finally responded but it’s as though she’s given up completely. We provided her with food and supplies, but she was quiet and refused prayer. To be honest, this outreach breaks our hearts every week. We’ve come to learn that this is often the last line of spiritual defense for many on the streets as the enemy is waiting for them to give up hope.
The CedarWood Outreach to the Homeless is an area that needs serious intercession and we invite you to set aside Saturday mornings from approximately 9am-1pm to keep our team and those they will encounter in prayer. Pray for wisdom and protection of the team and pray that the individuals they meet will be open to the Gospel message.
One practical need we have particularly during the icy winter months, is waterproof outerwear. For the children at our pantry, we prefer gently used or new items. However, for the homeless, we are told that new items are often sold for food and such. That said if you have coats, scarfs, hats, or gloves and would like to send them to CedarWood for our Pantry Clients or our Homeless Outreach, please send them to the Washington address: CedarWood 11700 Mukilteo Speedway, Suite #201-1177 Mukilteo, WA 98275
For those of you attending the Seattle Gathering of the Eagles, we will have a collection station set up in the lobby of Bethel Chapel.
Reminder! Seattle, Gathering of the Eagles: our GOE begins in just two weeks! We have some seats available and invite you to join us as we stand in the gap for our nation! This time together is crucial to refute the plans the enemy has for the USA in 2019 so don’t hesitate to join us! Click for details. We pray for the Lord’s blessings upon you and your families this upcoming Thanksgiving Day!
Much love,
Ricci Wilson on behalf of the entire WFJM Family!

A Time To Win! Things are turning and it's time for winning! It's time to heal and it's time to see! It's time for the deep state to fail and fraud to be uncovered! It's time for the Son to shine and oppression to be lifted! It's time for fear to go and honor to be raised up! It's time for victory to ensue with days of overcoming! It's time to reap the waiting harvest after many years of sowing! It's time for truth to now prevail over the altars of corruption! When reformation is matured, it’s time for joy with great revival!! It's TIME!!! IT'S TIME!!! Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning! Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it’s a tree of life! I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope!!! IT'S TIME!!! We must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! Waiting is not forever. IT'S TIME!!! IT'S TIME!!! Blessings, Jon Woodbrook

CW Expansion Project Update:So far, we received monthly pledges for a total of $4691 toward the projected monthly budget increase of $6000! We’ve received just over 78% toward our increase! Thank you for standing with us in this endeavor! At CedarWood, our clients receive more than just food. They receive prayer as well. I’d like to share the following excerpt from our CW Weekly Report: Perhaps you will remember the report from last week about a woman who received prayer for MS. She told us she went back to her doctor for an exam and they found no indication of the disease in her brain, even though she had been told otherwise in previous visits. Praise God! We continue to pray and believe for her complete healing.
This is what you are helping us build; a community that cares for—and reaches out to—one another. Again, I invite you to participate in our CW Expansion Project with your pledge of support: Copy and paste the following statement into an email addressed to tiffany.wfjm@gmail.com. She will save your commitment letter and, if you like, sign you up to receive weekly updates with stats and personal stories from our Monday Pantry events. To begin donating today – Click here to be taken to our CedarWood Expansion Project donation link. I/We commit to support the expansion work of CedarWood Int’l by my/our donation of ___________per month. I also agree to partner with you in prayer over this outreach and would welcome weekly correspondence providing updates on the CedarWood Pantry efforts. Sincerely, _________________

The Refining Part 4 "Walking in the Spirit" Part B
by Ricci Johnson-Wilson
In Romans 12: 9-13, Paul gives specific instructions on how to maintain fellowship of the Spirit and a life of holiness with our brothers as well as our enemies. He says, “Let love be without dissimilation.” In other words, it should not be a phony love. He adds that love abhors that which is evil and cleaves to that which is good. That word, “cleave to that which is good,” means to be glued together. When He said, “A man shall leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife,” that means to be glued together or united as one with a single purpose. Cleave to that which is good. When we know we are headed on the right path, we need to hold onto that truth. Grab hold of it like your life depends on it and super-glue it to your heart, then run with the freedom it provides. Then Paul continues, “Do not be slothful in business.” For the believer, “not slothful” means to not drag our feet, but rather, to quickly obey what the Lord sets as His priority. So, not slothful “in business” means to be zealous about what God has set as your priority.
There are times when we come together as believers with our agendas staunchly set before us. If you get two or more in a room, I can promise you there will be at least two agendas that enter the room. The Lord is creating a new breed of believers who will be Spirit-led, those who set aside their own agendas to give way for His Spirit to move in their midst to accomplish His will, His plans, His purposes in the earth. He wants to set the priority and then He wants us to execute that priority quickly, with absolute obedience.
On a personal level, God has given us the priority for our lives—intimacy with Him. Unfortunately, in the busyness of living or the exhaustion of this fight, many have lost sight of this priority. Friends, He desires intimacy with us. This is a priority we must never cease to be zealous to achieve. The enemy seeks to dumb us down, numb us, and turn us into apathetic vessels. The Lord is calling forth a new breed of believers who are focused, alert, with His priority coursing through our vessels. Therefore, it is crucial that we come before the Lord our God in the morning before we start our day and make sure we are lined up with His plan, ensuring our spirit has connected with Him. This enables us to go about our day sensitive to the Lord.
In ministry there are practical steps to running a ministry with its varying departments, however, we must come before God each day to discover what His priority is for our life, during ministry. For those employed in the secular world, it may not be practical to go into work and say, “I got together with God this morning and He told me to prioritize thus and so!” Wisdom must be applied in our lives while we are Spirit-led. The Lord wants to prioritize our day while granting us the wisdom to implement that priority. If you call your boss and say, “Listen, God has called me to prayer today, so I will not be in,” you are going to have a little note in your in-box when you get to the office the next day, suggesting you stay home and pray more often. Wisdom in implementing His priority is not only possible, it is necessary.
Paul says in Romans 12:10, “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.” Again, intimacy with our Lord is His priority and this can be drastically interrupted by our interaction with others. That’s why we are instructed to do everything as unto the Lord. Our interaction with people needs to be as unto the Lord. Our work, whether we work out there with the secular world or we work in the ministry, needs to be done as unto the Lord, because wherever we are, regardless of our place of employment, regardless of our family life or whether our family is saved or unsaved, we are reflecting the Lord Jesus Christ through our interaction with them.
Paul goes on to talk about our interaction with our enemies:
Romans 12:14: “Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.” Romans 12:19-21: “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Friend or foe, we must remember, whoever we interact with that day must come away from that interaction having been touched by God. To be clear, I am not encouraging anyone to walk around the office and lay hands on everyone. What I am saying is that we are reflecting God. We are to be His vessels, led by His Spirit.
When we read or listen to the Gospels, we see how this instruction was demonstrated by Jesus as He walked this earth. We read how He responded to those who heard and believed on Him, and those who heard and rejected Him. We see the love He demonstrated to the sinner, the harlot, even those would spit on Him. Jesus extended love and forgiveness every single time. He ate with the tax collectors, He spoke with the prostitutes, He reached out to the adulteress, the lepers, the blind, and so on. And, because He reached out into the lives of those who were otherwise rejected and banished, they believed on Him. He emanated love—love without judgement, without shame. Tenderness flowed from Him. There was quality of character within Him so deep that when He approached you, you felt Him. What was it that emanated from Him? It was an absolute love, for you.
He was not looking for what others would give Him, He was looking for what He could give to you. His passion each day was to determine what He could pour into your life today that could make your life better. He sought to bring peace to your soul. His desire was to show you that you are worthy of love, and this was all before He hung on the cross and died for you. His interaction with people was one of love.
He came, He lived, and He walked on this earth for 33 years, demonstrating a holy love for all mankind. He knew how to disarm people; he had tremendous wisdom. He knew how to silence those who were trying to challenge Him with their education in the scriptures. He knew how to penetrate the heart of man with love for the person who felt the most ashamed in life because of the things they had done. He could pierce through the thickest of walls, the shame and humiliation, and impart love to them that would bring healing to those wounds. That is how Jesus was when He walked this earth. The same character in Christ holds true today; it must reside within us. We are His vessels, called to demonstrate that level of love to those that we encounter each day.
To be continued next week…
Blessings & Love,
Ricci Wilson
