Subject: Update from Ricci

Dear Friends,

Here’s a few updates I’d like to share with you:

Nita – as I mentioned during the Thursday night teaching, Mom had surgery to repair an ulcer. She’s not a young woman, and recovery is slower as we age. Diabetes complicates this process. Please keep her in prayer for a speedy recover. The Washington DC Gathering of the Eagles is just 5 weeks away and there’s much to be done in preparation, so she needs her strength! She’s looking forward to seeing you all in DC!

Weekly Teachings –our Thursday night teachings are crucial to prepare the church, truly redefining the church into a vessel usable by God in the last days. I encourage you to join us live, for those who are unable, I welcome you to listen to the recordings on our “Prophetic and Intercessor’s Training Ground”.

Gathering of the Eagles – Our Washington DC Gathering of the Eagles is so close, if you haven’t reserved your room, I strongly encourage you to do so now. I just added rooms to our block, and they are going fast. The beauty of our location is its proximity to the airport, the use of their shuttle service, and we were able to negotiate a free breakfast buffet for those registered at the Holiday Inn!

Many are asking when our December Gathering of the Eagles will be so they can begin planning now! I love the enthusiasm of our faithful prayer warriors! We’ve postponed this Gathering to January due to difficulty many of our intercessor’s face travelling in December. I’m working on the contracts now and should be able to provide exact dates within a week.

CedarWood – our CedarWood Homeless Outreach team continues to provide meals for the homeless on the weekends. I read this weekend’s report and I wanted to share two powerful testimonies with you: a woman who—one year ago—would not speak with or even look at our team much less receive food from them asked for a hug! That may seem small, but when you have absolutely nothing but the clothes on your back, your world can seem completely out of control. Small things provide you with a sense of security and control over your own life. If abuse occurs, an unwillingness to trust is even greater. Add to that the potential of mental illness that drove them to the street and it takes true wisdom on the part of our team when reaching into their lives. You must take each step carefully, so you don’t scare them away and cause them to withdrawal altogether.

This young lady, not even old enough to rent a car, is living on the streets with nothing but what her small frame can carry. This exchange began a year ago, seeing the team each weekend brought down some walls. Then, one day she accepted a pair of new socks. A while later, she accepted a bag with some supplies, then a warm meal. This weekend, she asked for a hug… a HUG! This seems so small, but when you spend months and months reaching into a person’s life with a deep desire to help them, this step matters.
Joel’s Army – this arm of our ministry is such a power tool in the kingdom of God! As the Lord showed Nita that each Joel’s Army prayer warrior brings stability to the nation in which they live. I encourage you to check out our Joel’s Army page and consider joining us as we stand in the gap for the nations!

Please continue to pray for Mom, our ministry finances, our CedarWood Int’l Outreaches and Joel’s Army!

Blessings & love,

Ricci Wilson
