Truth, Our Anchor in the Storm

Vision-The Sword of Truth
In 2020, during the intensive season of fighting for this nation, I was praying over the topic of Truth. I had a vision of the Lord. He emanated holiness, and His brilliance was so great, it nearly blinded me. He appeared over the nation with His sword in hand assessing the situation. Suddenly He raised the sword and thrust it straight into the center of the country.
The surface area over the nation began to crack. It looked like a grey stucco that had been spread over the land. Large cracks splintered off into smaller cracks, and then those splintered off into even smaller cracks. It splintered quickly across the entire nation.
He stood there holding the sword in place. Suddenly there was an explosion followed by a brilliant light, it looked like lightning, and it came forth from the sword and shot down into land and then out and across the surface of the nation. As the lightning coursed across the land, a storm ensued enveloping the cracked stucco. This storm became so great, I rushed to the sword to cling to it out of desperation and fear of being blown off the face of the earth with the debris. I could not see anything but the sword I anchored myself to and the storm that surrounded me.
Finally, the storm dissipated, as it did, I noted the stucco, the debris, and the darkness had all disappeared. The nation was ablaze with an all-consuming light, the light had flickering flames that danced across the land, His glory, moved across the nation, it was living fire, breathing, it was clear, the ebb and flow of revival was here.
That was six years ago. This vision has reappeared before me every day for the last several weeks. I see the sword in the land. Amid the storms, I see the sword. Throughout these attacks on President Trump’s life, I cling to the sword. As wars and rumors of wars increase, I anchor myself to the sword. As deceptions swirl across the land, I am anchored to the sword. Even amid the greatest storms of my life and our ministry, I am anchored to the sword.
Throughout these storms, I feel the effect of the sword, the stucco is cracking, the culmination of the last quarter of a century of intercession has become a living breathing life of its own, the bowls in heaven (Revelation 5:8) are full, they are being poured out to break up the fallow ground and pour His healing waves of revival out to cleanse the land. Yes, this is making way for His glory to fill the land.
As I fall before Him witnessing this vision over and over again, two things have become abundantly clear:
First: the sword is not removed; it remains an anchor for those who cling to it in the storm. No wonder Paul says in Ephesians 6:14 to stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your loins. The belt of Truth holds our armor in place and anchors us to Truth.
Second: the intensity does not diminish; I do not become desensitized to the revelation. instead, my heart burns with the fire of God, “consume it all Lord, consume it all” is the cry of my heart day and night. I pray throughout the day. When I awake in the night hours, the tears of this watchman are collected and carried up to the throne room to contribute towards the filling of the bowls. Repentance and Revelation of Truth cleanse the land and then, Revival can heal the land.
We must ready ourselves for His Glory, for revival, for that life-changing revival we have cried out to God for over the last two-and-a-half decades will heal the nation and pierce the hearts and mind of our youth with His Light, His Truth, and His presence! However, during this season, the storms will persist. Be ye not afraid, cling to the Truth, it will be your ever-present help.
Are we, as believers, ready for the storm?
I’ve sought the Lord on this and over the last several weeks given four messages on Pursuing the Mind of Christ, one on the Importance of the Hour, and last week, the Return of the Watchmen, because each one covers an important element in protecting us from deception and preparing the nation for revival.
There is a storm of great deception coming, and it is already here, I’m going to share some concerns I have toward the end but first: why does God allow this?
The storms come to purify us as believers, they are allowed to clean the mess humanity creates and draw and then anchor the people of God back to His Truth, His Word, His Will, and His Ways. Why? He wants the heart of the Nation—the Church—to lead the nation in truth. We cannot do this if we are not anchored to Truth.
I know it can be exhausting, but trust me, God is allowing distractions, the spinning of narratives, conspiracies, even deceptions regarding religions and aliens, to drive His warriors and warriors-in-training, into Truth! And Truth can only be found in His Word.
Today, we will discuss the quest for Truth, our Anchor in the Storm
What or Who is Truth?
Jesus said in John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”
Jesus is Truth, through Him we gain access to our Anchor.
John said of Jesus in John 1:14
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Jesus is Truth. Jesus is the Word. The Word is Truth.
I cannot tell you how important it is that we memorize these two passages and proceed to anchor ourselves to Jesus through His Word. Jesus and the Word of God are synonymous. You can find Jesus in every book of the Bible. The Old Covenant is Jesus concealed; the New Covenant is Jesus revealed.
However, what happens when we doubt the Word, minimize or criticize Scripture, or do not hunger and thirst for His Truth? 2 Thessalonians 2 provides us with the answer.
Before we read the following passage, a quick background: the Church at Thessalonica thought they missed the Lord’s return. Paul mentions the catching away of the Church in his first letter (1 Thess. 4:16-18) and he quickly receives a response from the Thessalonians, fearing they’d missed the Lord’s return. As a responsible Apostle, he quickly sets the record straight.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Don’t panic, I know this is an end-time Scripture, but we’ve been in the last days for 2000 years, we should all know we are closer today than we were yesterday. That said, the heart of the message to be anchored to Truth is found in this passage. Why? The very same one who will deceive men in the end of days, is working hard to deceive men today and we need to recognize the patterns used and the vulnerabilities we may have personally so we can make the necessary changes.
Paul provides a clear pattern for us to follow. First, he explains who sends deception, how it is possible to enter the heart of man, even Christians, and as he does, he teaches us how to prevent our own descent into deception. I chose this passage because the revelation provided should compel us to be anchored to Truth.
Where does the deception come from? Who sends it? Verse 9 tells us who: he comes after the working of Satan—the enemy of our soul. Remember, this is same deceiver who went into the Garden and deceived Eve in Genesis 3.
How? Verse 9 tells us—through power, signs and lying wonders. These are accomplished by demonically charged power; the signs can be ceremonial or miracles such as bringing fire down from heaven (Rev 13:13-14 tells us this will occur as a sign to those who remain). Suffice it to say, without discernment and a true knowledge of the Word, many will be deceived by these demonstrations of the supernatural. The “lying wonders” are deliberate replacements of what is true with what is false to elicit a response from observers. With the advent of social media, we have already seen the prequal. There are so many persuasive doctrines out there and they are deceiving many on social media. This will intensify as the number of demonically charged hosts increases. Consider the unprecedented number of conspiracies, false narratives, and false religions, prophets and teachers who have popped up in the last decade. And then consider how many have fallen because they were not presenting Truth? This is just the beginning; God is going to continue to deal with and expose them. Unfortunately, many of their followers either remain loyal or find another deception to follow. Why? Their followers do not love truth.
Who is the deceiver’s target? Verse 10 tells us—those who do not receive a love of the Truth.
Why is he successful? Verse 10-12—they will perish because they did not love truth and God had no other choice but to send in strong delusion. This is a judgment in and of itself. Consider the prodigal son, he demanded his own way, his earthly inheritance. His father gave it and sent him on his way. The delusion followed him throughout his time in rebellion until he descended into the pigpen. And it was as he ate with the unclean animals, that he realized the error of his ways, repented, and returned to his father. The delusion he was sent by the Lord broke his rebellion to truth and it saved his soul. This is not always the case; some do not repent and return. Some believe the lie, have so much pleasure in unrighteousness, they end up condemned to eternal judgment.
I believe God is even now allowing delusions to present themselves to provoke His Church to anchor themselves to Truth that they might stand strong as the storms increase.
What about those deceptions or delusions?
There’s a very strong delusion being released right now.
Delusion in the Greek is plano- it means deviant behavior; a departure from what God says is true; an error (deception) which results in wandering (roaming into sin).
God allows a delusion to intensify as a judicial act, a judgment in and of itself for believing the lie to begin with. As I mentioned, God holds us accountable for what we know. When we leave the Christian faith for another religion, such as baptism into Catholic Church, which is a faith plus works religion that prays to saints, relies on a priest as their mediator, requires baptism and confirmations as part of the salvation package, and many other practices contrary to the Scriptures, God sends them a delusion. I’ve seen this happen in the spirit. A lens covers the eye, as they continue on their path, the lens becomes thicker until it completely blinds them to truth. It takes repentance on their behalf to break this deception from them and set them free to see truth once again.
I want to talk about a few deceptions I see right now that are distracting believers. I’m sure there are many more, but for the sake of time, I’m going to limit this to three headers that can encompass many subtopics.
Conspiracies—I cannot express the importance of pulling away from conspiracies. They are designed to distract and divide humanity, and they propagate a spirit of distrust in the heart of man towards authority. Those propagating them will claim it’s the truth or they are just asking questions, but they are leading millions down a path of deception. Even if you don’t believe it but watch for entertainment, it’s scratching an itch within the heart and is an open door to be taken further down these paths of deception. The Word is clear, for those who prefer conspiracies over Truth, there will be a day in which the Lord will send a strong delusion, and they will be given over to the lie they love more than truth. It needs to be repented of and cast at the foot of the Cross. These will increase in the coming days. This is an election year, we should expect plenty of interference. From the Hantavirus to genetically modified ticks, to riots in the streets, expect interference, deceptions, fear-driven conspiracies to interfere with this election. And remember, we are the restrainers of evil, don’t just accept it, pray against it.
Aliens—I start preparing these messages on Saturday. The Lord told me to speak on Truth. Yesterday, I learned there’s a plan to release information on aliens. We’ve been hearing about aliens and UFOs for some time, and personally, I’ve just been waiting for this ball to drop. I have always felt the UFO talk was secret, extremely advanced technology created by the military to get ahead of our enemies. Our military tech is years ahead of what we, the public, see on the surface and that’s by design. When this tech is inadvertently captured on camera by the public, the UFO narrative swirls around a bit and then settles back down. As far as aliens, I felt they were either demons or horrific, genetically modified creatures. As this has moved into mainstream conversation, I sensed the intention was to allow this to circulate and when the Lord returns in the clouds and takes up His Church, the alien abduction story will be used to explain the massive disappearances to the public that remains.
Joseph Z, in an interview on CBN, just yesterday stated that he was in a closed meeting with congressmen and some military, special forces where he was shown pictures of slender beings which were not Ai generated. He felt these individuals called the meeting because of a genuine concern for the Church and the deception this will create. He added that these beings will be used to bring “enlightenment” and create the narrative that humanity was seeded by advanced, interdimensional beings in order to sideline Christianity to replace it with a “greater knowledge.” The projected date is 2027 but it could be earlier.
I want to be completely clear on this issue; those are not aliens in the sense that there is another planet like earth and these “enlightened beings” with their “higher knowledge” made it to earth before we made it to their planet. These are demonic entities of some sort or possibly demonically possessed genetic hybrids. According to Joseph Z, he thinks some will say they are the disembodied spirits of Nephilim.
Their appearance now is a sign of the times, if we do not know the Word, we will be deceived.
Religions—the Pope endorsed Islam, this will become Chrislam and be a designated religion in the days ahead. Pray for those in the Catholic Church and pray for Muslims, they need Jesus, not a merger. In addition, given this recent announcement, I believe the Pope will likely embrace or endorse the “enlightened beings” narrative. Many years ago, I saw a massive exodus from the Catholic Church, perhaps this will be that catalyst.
The Lord showed me in this year of open books, the rumblings of revival are here. Why is that important? Because when God is about to pour out His Spirit into the earth, He does so to prepare the Church for what is coming, to bring in salvation to the masses, or heal the land. At the same time, historically speaking, we can see challenging or even tragic events sweep the land. Cling to Truth, He is our Anchor in the Storm.
- The First Great Awakening was followed by the Revolutionary War which birthed our Nation.
- The Second Great Awakening was followed by the Civil War which was either going to end slavery or split the nation in two.
- The Azuza Street Revival that swept 60 nations in 2 years was followed by WWI, the Spanish flu, and the Great Depression.
- WWII brought the Billy Graham Crusades.
- The Vietnam War brought the Jesus Revolution. Crisis and Great Moves of God usually coincide with one another.
Remember the vision I shared at the beginning, the Rumblings of Revival are here and every week Darrell provides us with example after example of how God is moving in the nation and beyond. Our responsibility as watchmen, is to continue to pray that God’s plans will supersede the enemy’s plans every single day, and we must cling to Truth, it will be our anchor in the storm.
Blessings in Him,
Ricci
