Dear Friends,
Prayer is a key focus of this ministry. It has been for as long as I can remember. In 1999 we had our first Gathering of the Eagles. Since then, we've fought for this Nation on a spiritual front without ceasing. Jesus spent countless hours in prayer; the Gospels are replete with scriptures wherein He went to spend time in prayer with the Father. Are we not called to be like Christ? It seems only fitting that as children of the living God, we would go to Him for our greatest needs; the needs of our family, our city, and our Nation.
When we launched Joel's Army (a group of intercessors, willing to come together to stand in the gap for the nation throughout the year) it elevated our work on behalf of the Nation(s). Joel's Army functions year round in the form of Corporate Prayer Calls and Joel's Army Prayer Cells. These intercessors learned how to pray at deeper, more effective levels. The release of prophetic prayer points enabled us to pray targeted prayers in keeping with our Father's will for this Nation. For those who sign up to join Joel’s Army, they receive training materials and powerful bi-monthly teachings. These added tools brought our intercessors to a place of greater dependence and understanding of prayer. In short, our intercessors matured throughout the year so when they came together for the Gathering (another facet of Joel’s Army), the strength of the intercession came through as well.
We saw the fruit of our intercessions in the 2016 election. Yet, there is still so much work to be accomplished. We cannot let up on our prayers now. The Lord told me specifically that 2017 was to be a year where we “No Know Bounds!” in the Kingdom of God. This means we can bring forth more than we realize through prayer. The responsibility of the intercessor is to seek and pray for God's will. God called us to bring down the strongholds the enemy has in place. If we let up now, we will miss the greatest opportunity we've had to plant the Cross into the very heart of our Nation. God brought us what our Nation needs today; we need to press through to gain what she needs for the future. Is there a limit to how God desires to move in our country? Absolutely not! I say again, "Know No Bounds!" This means the only boundaries we face lie within ourselves - our doubts, fears, even our lack of faith and understanding can stand in the way of fully achieving what God commissioned us to do.
A few years ago Karen and I ran a marathon. I remember the intense training and the excitement we (and the other runners) felt on race day. Almost a thousand runners signed up for this race. At the halfway point there is a fork in the road; if you went to the left, you would run to the finish line completing a half-marathon. 13.1 miles was a remarkable achievement—upon completion, the runner received a medal, a sweatshirt, snacks and lots of cheering from those waiting at the finish line. If you ran to the right, you committed to the full marathon. I will never forget that moment, 90% of the runners went to the left with only 10% choosing to go to the right. Karen and I looked at each other shocked at the flood of runners who turned to the left, racing to the finish line. To the right, and for at least a mile, we only saw five or six people. We stopped at the fork, looked both ways and ran to the right. We spent the next mile laughing what-were-we-thinking-type laughs, but as time went on, the race went from physical training to a test of our mental and emotional endurance. When we finally crossed the finish line, our family was there, but the crowds were almost gone, only volunteers and those waiting for their loved ones remained. The snacks were gone, we received our sweatshirt, but they were out of medals… We limped to our car relieved we survived, but something happened in that last 13.1 miles. We gained an understanding of what it means to press through with the 10%, those who understand what it means to “Know No Bounds” and push their mind, body, and spirit as close to the edge of their breaking point in order to finish the race set before them. Those who were not in it for the glory, but to finish the race.
We are just four weeks away from the Kansas, Gathering of the Eagles, 2017. There is so much to pray through in this Gathering, and we need your help to do so. There are major issues, and while God's choice is sitting in the White House today, he's there because of prayer. He is what this Nation needs today. The responsibility of the intercessor is to seek and pray for what our Nation needs for her future. We need to press through on every front--tackle everything in this Nation that stands in the way of bringing true healing to our land. We must press through to the eternal my friends. We cannot stop short because we are tired or prefer to flow with the 90%– we cannot stop at “we got God’s choice into office, let’s let him take it from here…” We must press through, strive to see laws change, atrocities against the innocent cease, fight to see deep healing between the races, and witness the birth of reformation in our Nation. This is the call of the intercessor, the force of the 10%, the drive of those who live a life where they “Know No Bounds” because they believe God’s best for Nation truly has no boundaries. They’ve learned (or are striving to learn) to live out the book of Acts because that’s when the move of God poured out upon the land in an unprecedented manner.
Let’s look at Acts 1 for a moment: before Jesus ascended He instructed the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the promise. He told 500 to wait, and only 120 came. But, they fasted and prayed until the answer came. When the Holy Spirit entered, He flowed in with power unlike anything the masses experienced before. Peter exited and delivered the most powerful sermon to date, bringing 3000 into the Kingdom that day. Peter Knew No Bounds, and this is the power he flowed in the rest of his days.
Consider Acts 3: when Peter came upon the lame man outside the temple, the man held out his hand and asked for alms, what did Peter do? He reached out his hand and declared, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk!” The man asked Peter and John for ‘alms’ –that day's provision; Peter gave him what he needed for his future. He would never have to beg again. Peter was the 10%; he was a man who reached beyond the temporal and sought to see the eternal. He Knew No Bounds!
This is the power that is coming my friends, the ability to see beyond today and experience the fullness of what God has for His children tomorrow! Let’s fight for a body of people to experience what it means to flow at this level. Repentance, forgiveness, intercession, faith...are the foundation of what it takes to give birth to reformation. These are the requirements to expand our faith and begin to walk as a child of the living God – the 10% who look to tomorrow and live a life of a believer who “Knows No Bounds!” Are you among the 10%? Join us at the Kansas, Gathering of the Eagles in March and let's pray for the Nation to have what she needs for her future!
Blessings & love, Ricci Wilson

“The Signature of God” Part B
By Nita Johnson
Revival Services
Years ago I was taken to Heaven and had the privilege of meeting one who had gone on to be with the Lord; I won’t tell you his name but he was highly respected in the Church when he was here and I had long loved, appreciated and respected him as the Church still does today. This individual was standing next to the Lord and I was placed next to him. I was shocked as the Lord introduced us, amazed really, because I never thought I would get to meet him until I went on to be home with the Lord. Yet, here he was, standing in front of me. He said many things to me during my visit to Heaven, but before the Lord sent me back to earth, this man said to me, “You love the Lord don’t you?” I said, “Very, very, much.” He said, “I want to tell you something—don’t ever forget it-- if you want to have deep intimacy with the Lord, you must go through the cross. Only those who go through the cross can know God in this way.” Upon saying that, a white cross suddenly appeared beside him. I knew I had to go through that cross to have the kind of intimacy I wanted with the Lord.
When we go through the cross it means that as a disciple, we must learn to live the crucified life; the life dedicated wholly to pleasing Christ. It means we must turn away from the things of the world. We can’t be like other Christians if we want intimacy—we will frustrate ourselves beyond imagination if we demand to live life like the nominal Christian, and seek intimacy with God at the same time.
The cross will lead us into discipleship. Much of the body of Christ lives to attend church once or twice, perhaps three times a week. Many add to their quest, watching television to hear the preaching of the Word. However, they hear it preached and preached but they never grow. Thereby, they will love the preaching and teaching of the Word until they go to be with God even though they never grow in intimacy with Him. A true disciple is not a disciple of man, although most of God’s Church is considered a disciple of man. A true disciple is a disciple of Christ. The life of the cross is what distinguishes a true disciple.
Matt 6:9-13 “Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven (left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have given up resentment against) our debtors. And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Jesus is here, teaching the Sermon on the Mount to a multitude of people. However, we can almost see a transition take place at this point of the sermon. His focus turns from the great crowds before Him, to the disciples; He transitions to those who will learn to become true disciples of God. He is not just going to teach them how to pray, but how to walk with the Father the way He does because in reality we cannot separate prayer from discipleship. He uses prayer to bring us into discipleship—that is the purpose of prayer, (other than the fact He wants to use it to get things done in the earth.) But in respect to us—His purpose here is to place prayer before us to disciple us.
He wants to say something to us, He wants to touch our heart and prick something deep within; He wants to call us deeper than we’ve ever thought to walk before. He wants to wound our flesh, so His Spirit can gain dominion in that place. He wants is to let His Spirit wound our flesh, open our heart and deposit within us a new call. He wants to invite us into a place that He only invites His disciples.
I can’t imagine what it would be like to be a Christian and live day by day in the Kingdom and not really have a relationship with Jesus. I can’t imagine what this kind of life would be like. I think Jesus is so exciting and wonderful, and the closer you walk with Him the more exciting He becomes. What’s more, He wants the intimacy with us! Why would I ever want to go back to where I started—and where most people in the Church live—without the fellowship, discipleship and intimacy? David hungered for the courts of the Lord. He said, “I’d rather be a doorkeeper.” He didn’t care about being a king, he would’ve been happy being a doorkeeper in the courts of the Lord because to be a doorkeeper at the kings court means you have presence, proximity, and closeness. You can see Him and feel Him; hear His words and begin to recognize how He relates to His subjects. David understood this position well. That is a sneaky place to live; a doorkeeper in the house of God because you get to hear things that most never hear, you get to see things that most never see, you get to experience things that most never get to experience.
David learned very early in life how to be a true disciple in the wilderness; this is where he learned his Psalms. He sang his songs reflecting his heart for the Lord and their relationship. He learned early how to walk with God separately, different, and how to become a student of the Spirit of God. This is why he was so easily broken in his sin. Most men, by the time they had reached a place where they could do what David did—adultery and murder—would’ve had hearts so hard you could never have touched them again. But, the minute the prophet of the Lord came to David, he broke because God captured a place deep inside of David through his flesh. He wounded his flesh so that He could own his soul.
To be continued next week
